Default Joseph Abboud: forest walk on cool summer eveing after rain ?

What if a niche company essentially copied this one and called it "Forest Rain, Evening,' or something along those lines? And suppose it was a well-known company that is popular here (perhaps one that rhymed with greed?)? I wonder if it would be flying off the shelves at $200+ per bottle. Seriously, I hadn't worn this one in a very long time and the last time it seemed a bit too sharp for me, but today I immediately (though largely avoiding the top notes) thought the perfumer did a great job at this kind of evocation, one that niche companies seem to so often fail at when they try to do something similar. Sure, if you smell it up close it's somewhat odd, but give it a few inches and it comes together very nicely. If you want to smell a walk through the woods after a heavy rain and on a cool/damp summer night for a few hours (or more), this is one to sample.

NOTE: It has a bit of an iso e super feel to it, for those who are sensitive. If you only wear scents that smell entirely natural, I can understand an issue here, but if your sensitivity varies, as mine does, you may be able to appreciate it at least some of the time.

Always felt this was very generic and synthetic smelling, at least to my nose.

I think it's a great fragrance and severely overlooked.

I also think it's great. The smell reminds me of dried, crushed leaves in the Autumn.
