Cozumel by laboratorio olfattivo

I received a large decant of COZUMEL BY LABORATORIO OLFATTIVO a few days ago from MIN NY. WOW! This has to be the best Basil based fragrance ive smelt. Its not a typical Basil, has a very "cooling" aromatic opening to it. Almost as if I were to smell Vick Vapor Rub. Not the scent but as in the sensation to the nose. The drydown has a beautiful sandalwood mix with a tobacco and a smooth hint of vanilla in the Tonka Bean. The projection is high and the logevity is the longest ive seen. I can still smell it strong on my jacket from two days ago. Heres are the notes below...

Top Notes
Bergamot, Vietnamese Basil, Aromatic Notes.

Middle Notes
Clary Sage, Indian Hemp, Blonde Tobacco, Amber.

Base Notes
Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Incense, Tonka bean.

Makes sense. When I think of a large decant, I'm thinking of something larger than a 2ml sample.

Have you tried Jardin du Poete from Eau d'Italie? It also has a delicious basil note.
Wondering how they compare....

Interesting fragrance. Unfortunately my sample is too small. This is what I imagine a freshened up version of Coze 02 would smell like. Aromatic, fresh, green, woody, with noticeable basil, tobacco and tonka. Abstract, elegant with a faint creamy quality. Can't vouch for sillage, duration but smells nice and distinctive.

Loving the dry down, fresh, creamy, woody with a hint of tobacco. Sillage and duration are spot on.
