We've been talking about Pina over on the Female Fragrance Discussion SOTD and everyone is intrigued by the idea of a pineapple sandalwood fragrance.
Whomever has sampled this already, please post your thoughts!

I bought a bottle of Pina directly from Ryan, from Madhat, when I met him last week in Chicago. I'm really enjoying it. The base notes are super woody...in a raw, holistic way. It is definitely more 'exotic' than last summers Madhat release, Mysore Lime (which I thoroughly enjoyed in a different way, which is why I went through two bottles of it) the pineapple smells like it's been grilled so it has that inherent caramelized sweetness to it. I love that!

Glad you're enjoying it Mike! There are 3 types of natural sandalwood in it including Mysore Sandalwood and New Caledonian (from Le Chance XVI.) Additionally, there's vintage cedar and blue cypress from Le Chance as well. The wood base is pretty complex really as I used a few high quality wood synthetics as well.
I think I recognize the blue cypress you mentioned was in Le Chance XVI.
Is there jasmine in Pina?

Here is a little throwback. I just sprayed on some Skiff. It took me a little while to appreciate this, but it's really great in hot weather but also performs well.
Just wore Furk.... I don't know what to think... its so strong. And musky. its overwhelms. Can you all give me a break down of how you feel about it? I need to give a few more wearings
Dredging this post string up to see if anyone's sampled any of the recent offerings? Hope Ry and MadHat are doing well!![]()
Coincidence this thread popped up: I wore Limed today. A strong sandalwood/lime classic - lasts all day!

I still have my Aum Oud and Palo Santo Plateau that I've been using very sparingly... Unfortunately when they're gone, they are gone.
