    Default Franck Boclet Tobacco

Hello everyone was curious to know if Franck Boclet Tobacco would be worth owning if I already own both Tobacco Vanille and Tabac Rouge. Any input on Franck Boclet Tobacco would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I believe Hednic has good familiarity w/this house so, he will likely "pipe" up. (sorry )

I cant speak on the boclet but I notice you have two very similar tobacco scents. If you are looking for a little diversity I would check out herod by parfums de marly. I know its rather expensive but when it first came out there was literally no grey market sources for it. Now herod can be had at a decent discount if you know where to look.

It's a somewhat sweet & spicy tobacco fragrance. Have owned it since it first appeared and when the house was virtually unknown here at Basenotes but don't see it as similar to Tabac Rouge which I also own or Tobacco Vanille which I have tried. The opening IMO is what sets this one off. I personally like this one as I do the other 12 in the line. If you can get it at a good price might be worth it. Better yet would be to sample it first.

Planning to at least sample, if not purchase this fragrance myself, as it starts to appear in major fragrance stores of the main cities in my country

first in fragrance was the only place I have found it for sale. Does anyone know any other sites that carry this? Seems to be hard to find if you live in the States.

And I found this to be a wonderful retailer. They deduct VAT, shipped for free, (must reach threshold) tracking confirmation and fast shipping. Highly recommend them.

Can't recall in Swedish currency but it's not too much more than the domestic threshold required for free shipping.

Planning on blind buying Franck Boclet Tobacco and i would appreciate if someone could tell if there is honey note in it or no? Couple reviews on fragrantica mentioned strong honey opening. But honey is not listed on notes.

Wondering this because i dont enjoy honey note at all.. Too sweet.

I detect no honey note at all. Perhaps the sweet vanilla note blended in might have been what was perceived as being "honey".

I just bought this from a fellow Basenoter. I broke one of my own rules and bought it blindly.

Glad I did...it's great stuff. Really enjoyed it today.

How does the tobacco in FB compare to Tobacco Oud? A reviewer said that FB smells very much like a freshly opened pack of rolling tobacco. That's exactly what I've been looking for and my blind-buy FB. Thank you.
