Default Montale Honey Aoud vs Red Aoud

I'm looking to pick one of these Montales for my upcoming Mediterranean trip. For those with experience with this line which would you choose for Mediterranean weather and how would you compare these two?

I would choose Honey Aoud because I like it a lot more, not because it would necessarily fare any better in Mediterranean weather (though it might, a little bit). Neither are ideal for the climate, still Honey Aoud is very good. I found Red Aoud heavy, discordant, unnecessarily complex and borderline nauseating. It seemed interesting at first but quickly became overbearing.

Of the 2 I've only tried the Honey and I generally hate honey as a note in fragrances but I loved this one enough to buy a bottle. I wouldn't personally recommend it for hot weather, longevity is not going to be an issue at all, I try many fragrances that barely last 15-20 minutes...this one lasted 12 hours off just 1 spray and it gets better after the first 20 or so minutes and again after about an hour

I'd go with Honey Aoud which I find softer. Red Aoud, while very nice, is for me potently peppery.
