hednic and UncleBuck beat me to it. M7 or Gucci pour Homme. I'd go with the M7, because I bought a bottle on the spot as soon as I smelled it, and got many years of pleasure out of it...

Tough one, it was the crossroads between the budding aquatics and the fresh woody fougeres.
I'll go with an interesting one.

I recall being surrounded by Aqua di Gio
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.
    4. Looking for a signature scent? You've come to the wrong place.

Possibly subjective, but as a 19-20 yr old, this was definitely my scent back in 2000-2001

Diesel fragrances were indeed huge back in the early 2000s. At least in the UK with the younger generation.

I bought a bottle of Green Masculine a while ago (basically my signature fragrance when I was about 14!) and it just transports me back to those great, carefree days.

Wonderful times.. I never thought they were at the time though! Everything was so less complicated.. When I feel like a quick trip back.. I have a sniff of Green Masculine!

I never wear it.. I just have it for nostalgia reasons..
