    Default Limonene substitute

I was wondering if there is an aroma chemical with similar smell to limonene, that can be used in harsh bases where stability is a concern.

Something similar like Linalool with substitutes of Coranol or Tetrahydro Mugol that smells similar and are more stable.

Lemonile is stable in alkaline/basic solutions, but it is extremely powerful and would be more of a lemon/verbena odor.
