I'm changing out Wood Sage & Sea Salt by Jo Malone for Ambre 114 by HdP. A couple of reasons for the change, I've worn Wood Sage & Sea Salt quite a lot recently as the old 30ml bottle was a finish focus scent and I'm now on the new 100ml bottle. Also the scent undertones just aren't smelling as good to me at the moment in the current air weather conditions, sometimes, having a super sensitive nose can really effect my perfume wearing enjoyment level in a negative way - I pick up every tiny, subtle change in a perfume throughout the wearing. The other reason is that I really wanted to add Ambre 114 to my rotation as it is now starting to smell wonderful again to me. I only started wearing this scent in February, loved it during late summer and the autumn months but didn't like the way it smelt on my skin during the colder winter months.

Yes, it does garner lots of compliments! It always puts a smile on my face when I wear it, plus, it's been great for uplifting the spirits during covid lockdowns. Biggest compliment I can give it is that I consider it replenishment worthy! It my favourite of the Coco Mademoiselle range of perfumes, it is the smoothest and I really enjoy the added base notes in it. The EDT smells rough and soapy in comparison and the original EDP is very cloying to me.

I'm finding it hard to stick to a rotation. The Encens et Lavande is wonderful but gone. I'm planning to add a few more and make it a rotation of 15. ;-)

Sticking to my rotation is fairly hardwired now, especially with the bottles on display on a hanging shelf.

Absolutely loved the lighting in the photo - as nostalgic as the perfumes themselves.
