Bally Masculin
(No SOTD, as I still had residue from a late night decanting session all over me.)
How this flew under the radar, I have no idea. Sublime.

Oleg Cassini For Men (Euroitalia).
Sweet baby Jesus, how I love this juice! Every time I smell it I get all giddy and the serotonin is racing full throttle, yessir. Last time I felt like this with a fragrance, was enroute to Berlin in '95 and the first time I ever smelled Adidas (the 1985 original). Oh, boy!![]()
Non IFRA Compliant & proud of it!

Today I’m wearing Yohji Homme. It’s from a decant I got from one of you fine folks.I thought it was good from the first wearing. I do not wear it often but whenever I do, like on cool mornings as today’s, I realize I’ve only grown to like the fragrance even more. I have a couple other fragrances that sort of fill the same scent type for me but damn vintage Yohji is good. In a moment that I realize I need to get rid of so many fragrances, I’m also daydreaming about a full bottle. Oh, the problems....

Lauder Metropolis
I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I prefer this to Lauder for Men.

SOTN is vintage Givenchy Pi. At the moment, I’m not detecting really a glaring difference, in my scent memory to the big pi 2010 bottle I have. I do feel like even though the vintage bottle starts off quieter that there’s something a little searing to the nostrils that I’m picking up in the drydown whereas the newer stuff may finish a bit more smoothly. But this is all from memory and I’m too mentally tired to say definitively at this point. Tomorrow I will do a side by side and give my thoughts.

This is just an idea as we are trying to reduce the number of very long ongoing threads across the forum. I know that this thread is already a yearly thread but as it's looking like this thread is going to end the year at probably close to 400 pages and 10,000+ posts, how does everyone feel about this thread being a monthly or quarterly thread next year? This is just a suggestion, it's o.k. if you prefer to keep the yearly format.
If it was a quarterly thread we could have add 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter links to the "current" quarterly thread as the year progresses.......
