My guess is that this bottle is from right before the 2014 bottle change. I saw Egoiste being sold in this older-style bottle for several years after the switch.

We are joining in this evening with the Cartier Declaration sync.

Thanks for that, Bavard. I guess I should’ve stood the bottle and box up got a better view. I was outside grilling at the time and that was just the best angle for the light. Gloomy day in Louisiana. I really really enjoy PE. My wife always says it smells ‘old school’ but it doesn’t strike me as an old school fragrance. But I guess technically it is. OMG! Are we old school?!

It’s just after 4pm central standard time for me, so I’m not quite ready to put on my SOTE/N. I’ve more work to do around the house as well. But, I’m happily going to get in on the Cook.bot sync of Declaration. I’ll be hitting some vintage from a decant. I’m honored to call her a friend, even if she is a naughty chef!

Thanks, D! I'm joining you, but decided to go with the Essence flanker. A little darker, a little smokier... a great scent to go to sleep with, especially after a feast day.

On board with team Declaration. As of a few hours ago at least. Wearing a bunch of stuff today.

Some Tea for Two seemed like a good fit so put a little on. Ashy and spicy warm from a 2006 bottle. It’s working well with pumpkin pie and football.

I’m about to order a bottle of Essence right now, while they’re still cheap!

Oh yeah. T42 would play nicely with Declaration, too.

Tell me if you stumble on a super deal. My bottle's about 2/3 gone.

Jealous of the Declaration sync, but I’m in Dana Tabu Parfum this evening. This is one of my favorite recent vintage discoveries. Spiced leather fun...it seems festive!

Gosh, I always just assumed Tabu was some kind of massive va-va-voom oriental, so I never even tried it. Guess I should remedy that.

It's just mostly amber, but back then amber was "va-va-voom" compared to pretty proper lady florals.
