At full retail? NO! But many Creed's and other brands are not worth full retail, IMO. At a discounter price? I still think it's worth it.

Man, when it first came out and 120ml bottles were going for £150 and the quality was superb, it would just pop off your skin all day long, definitely worth every penny. Now, it is such poor juice, poor longevity and projection, not even the same quality ingredients, yet the price has increased.

The price moved up but you can still save at least $150 by getting from a discounter. I'm not sure what ebay prices are because I don't really trust it.

Reliable discounters are few and far between. As for decanters, don't even go there.

Yeah, I can think of so many other better fragrances that I could get with that 240 though.

I think that just comes down to one's own personal tastes. If I didn't own it, I'd probably still buy it because I like it enough to warrant the cost. It's still my easiest dumb reach and I still love the smell.

    Sound reasoning to me.

Yeah but it's a purely academic discussion because those batches are only available for at least triple that price.

I'm surprised by the voting results. This is an aventus sub-forum and basically people are saying it isn't worth buying. Close it up.

Lol, there is a well known trusted splitter of Creed on BN (Zee). Funny story though about sharing your discount site lol, I never received word though I’m sure they had a nice selection.

It says a lot about Creed (Greed) as an organisation.

Yeah, that's painful. £150 for 100ml is what it should be selling for now tbh, even factoring in inflation and accounting for losing 20ml. The US prices in particular seem scandalous.

I wonder what post buyout the prices will be. I cannot see them decreasing but they may stabilise for a few years at least.

It wasn't plentiful but they use to carry Aventus, GIT and a couple of others. All sold out now.

I wonder if the voting is based on full retail price though? I don't think I'd ever pay that. The most I spent was 320 for a 120ml bottle of a particular batch.

It's a two part question so it's hard to answer with one vote. Is it still good? Yes. Worth the money? Lol....you don't even have to ask that!

One thing to remember is, this sub-forum was created around 10 years ago. A lot's been "done" to Aventus since then. Sad, really.

It was dull to me in 2010. and it's dull to me in 2020. That being said, I think it's a modern classic and does what it's supposed to - being a mass appeal frag, however that also costs a bit too much for what it gives.

Elaborate on why you feel it’s dull. Never heard it called that before lol.

It just smells boringly nice and instigates no emotions in me.

I bought a 100 ml bottle on january 2019 for approx 150 € (i had a 100 € discount coupon for a dealer); from the beginning I found it quite good, original and quite long lasting.. now it's performance is insane compared to the other fragrances i own (apart from Sauvage EDP), and i find it very good.

Here it is also not so common, i think i only smelled once something similar (maybe it was explorer or a clone), but a part of that it's very very unlikely to find someone else who wears it... so here it's still original despite being from 2010. Don't know if it is a mass pleaser, i think not, but in any case it's the fragrance that earned me the most amount of compliments..

So now i save it for special occasion only (i have approx 60-70% left) and i would definitely buy it at full retail if i needed to (approx 250 € for 100 ml bottle).

Keep in mind that this stuff is quite strong and long lastign, as said before.. it costs double the price, or more, of some designer fragrances but i need to apply less.
So €/ml is quite high... €/application is not SO higher...

But you are talking of about $ 400, so it's quite different.. don't know how does it compare to other fragrances price in your region..

Nishane hacivat is said to be alternative so is Armaf cdnim which is much much cheaper clone. I would go for the clones rather than the original.
