    Default Nissan Fragrances

    Hello all,

Just pulled the trigger on "Nissan Classic". The notes sound great and its loaded with them!

    http://nissanperfume.com/

Not getting my hopes up after the horrible Zirh Ikon Oud blind buy, but you never know.

Anyone have any info on these?

    Cheers

    Ryan

I always see these scents in discount stores super cheap, and always chuckle that Nissan has a fragrance line up. Let’s us know your thoughts when you get it.

I've never seen these before...COMING SOON TO A ROSS NEAR YOU!! lol

It looks like they aren't available in the states? Some of the bottle designs are interesting, though.

Never tried any from this company. Most likely won't.

I clicked the link and have to say that the bottle designs are very unique and I think that's great. I would be interested in sampling these. I don't want to 'discount' these.

Me too. My Datsun Zs in the '80s were amazing driving machines and smelled like hot metal and motor oil. Divine! My current 360 Z seems much more civilized (maybe too much more.)

It seems like they should be shelved way behind the Ferrari since they are slower, and if they are with the Fiat then they should be carrying some spare parts to help the Fiat get back on the road again.....

You guys are killing me! Well I'll keep you posted. The notes looked good and hint at an old school structure. Based on my love for the original Jaguar for men, where the current is such a great reform, but also owning a couple vintage bottles, I'm hoping for another diamond in the rough!

From what I have read I don't think Fiat will be getting back on the road anytime soon.

Well, it arrived. Interesting bottle, the black outline is a plastic frame that makes spraying very awkward. However, it is very easy to snap the glass bottle out to spray. Doesn't feel as cheap as others of the same price point.

The scent? Very much along the axis of Drakkar noir and lomani pour homme. It's actually pretty nice, but redundant. I'm tempted to try others of this line but worried they all take after other well known brands.

I know it seems funny to many of us, but in Tokyo there is a Nissan showroom--right in Ginza High Street--that showcases their R&D, concept vehicles, etc. and it is really impressive. Walk in there and you would buy a bottle of anything. Marketing done really well. It is just down the street from the world's best stationery store (Itoya) and if you go in the other direction you hit Ginza Lion beer hall, one of my favorite spots in Tokyo. Sapporo heaven, with Japanese sauerkraut thrown in for good measure. If I ever go AWOL, you might just find me there. Possibly smelling of Nissan. Possibly.
Very clearly a case for corn flakes and classics

The bottle is actually decent quality for the price, if not a bit cumbersome. Comparing the notes side by side with drakkar noir, they are identical. Funny they would release this today, when drakkar noir was released in 1982. Wearing each on a different arm, there are differences, but they are subtle.

Nissan Oudy is supposed to clone black afghano, and nissan voyage is supposed to clone aventus. Curious about both.

I bought Nissan Classic and threw it in my cart to qualify for free shipping. Uh, this stuff is awesome. Yes, it is like Drakkar Noir. But the longevity is UNREAL. For $12? This morning I woke up and could still detect the scent on my hand from yesterday afternoon. I immediately went to T.J. Maxx to see if they had some locally. T.J. Maxx didn't have hardly any fragrances at all, let alone Nissan. So I went to Amazon and bought 5 that I don't have for $10.81 each. The other two (Energy and Voyage) I found for less than $15 each on eBay.

I heard the Voyage is supposed to smell like Aventus and the Oudy is supposed to smell like Black Afghano. If they have nearly the same longevity, this is a total steal. Absolutely under the radar. Fragheads are clearly giving this a snooty cold shoulder, but I'm not rich. Y'all can keep your Tom Ford's. This stuff performs way beyond its price point.

UPDATE: I see in the post above that he mentioned Aventus and Black Afghano. This was also mentioned in a Best Brand Perfumes video on YouTube. When I get the others, I will post a review on here. I will have all 8. I'm sure they can't all be good.

The Audi...sorry, Oudy, sounds good. The composition of the Classic sounds just right to me, classic ol' school.

3 cars featured on the website and not a Datsun or Nissan to be found. How is that marketing disaster supposed to convince one to inquire further about the fragrances?
