Default Has anyone tried Mugler Angel Nova?

Just saw Angel Nova is a new Mugler, looking to be aimed at the feminine market. Notes of raspberry, rose, woods and benzoin. Sounds like a jammy rose. Yum! The local stores don’t have it yet.

For those who may be in more quickly supplied locations, have you had a chance to test it yet? I might be tempted to order it blind but until it appears somewhere, any first-hand reports would be of the utmost interest.

Raspberry and rose sounds like a very good combination, particularly in the hands of Thierry Mugler.

That's what I was thinking. Sometimes I don't like the quality of raspberry notes used in perfumery but with Mugler I'm thinking that with the rose and the other notes mentioned, it could smell nice and "rounded out." (Don't ask me to explain "rounded out." I'm not sure what it means exactliy… )

Just quick-smelled it. The raspberry at first is hidden behind something like a maltol'ish, cotton-candy gourmand block that's fading within seconds. Soon after it is hyper-real, the rose notes are soft and there's a mineral/metal woody, slightly aquatic context. This are my first impressions. I think I like it, but it might be not the innovative Mugler thing we're all hoping for...

The aquatic context scares me. But I'm still interested to try it when it finally reaches my country.
