I always thought this one was the best in the Amouage line up outside their attars. It's sad if it has been reformulated. I still have a small decant from 2010 and it lasts ten hours plus on my skin with very good projection.

This has always been the most disappointing Amouage for me.
Love the brand. Regularly wear 6-7 of them. When I owned Jub I would try it every few months, but never got the love.
    Finally sold it.

Yeah, it used to be really lovely stuff. Now, it is just "okay".

I have a 10 ml decant. I really dislike this perfume. Tried it once and never used it again - the scent just reminds me of a church filled with memorial flower arrangements.

Hardly surprising you have this association with incense. Some groups of people used it to embalm the bodies of their departed.

Yeah, I still have some of the original juice and it lasts all day and projects well. Sad, but not surprised, to hear it has changed over the years.

    Absolutely agree.
2-3 sprays works for me, otherwise it becomes overwhelming.
That's why I'm surprised when others complain that it's too weak. Indeed it projects for 5 hours, but then it's a skin scent for many hours.

I like to sniffl my wrist. I do it all the time, starting with the top notes.

For me, it fits the description exactly - it's rich, thick, opulent and complex. I get many of the olfactory pyramid notes, including berries.
    Love it!

Agreed. I have a decant from around 2012 or 2013, and it smelled identical to the bottle I bought last year. If the batch code information posted in this thread is accurate, my full bottle is from 2017. Two sprays or so is plenty, as it gives decent longevity without smelling sickly and too potent.

I gave my older decant to a friend since there wasn't any difference to my nose, and he over-applied the first time he wore it. It was overbearing and unpleasant with too much on him, even when we were outdoors walking the street.

Lol it’s funny but my criticism of Jubilation XXV is that it’s TOO strong! I had a few official samples and liked the lightness of the fragrance. When I came to buy it. I just found it too strong, especially the blackberry note at the top. My bottle is made in Oman btw.

What a shame that this one got reformulated so inconsistently and in some cases badly. When this scent came out it was so unbelievably resilient and tenacious - it got so much hype and I was one of those on the hype train.

Coincidentally today I finished up a decant of Copal Azur by Aedes (discontinued) and it's also done by Bertrand Duchaufour and I feel like there's a little bit of the JXXV DNA in this scent. I'd love to hear from people who've smelled/own both.

I've never really cared for this fragrance. I don't hate it, but I definitely don't love it. It's too mediocre. I wasn't a fan of any of Amouage's men's fragrances except for Gold. I like Amouage's women's fragrances much better.

Gold is supposed to be an incense bomb as well, so probably has parallels to Jubilation. Vintage Gold is an animalic beast with plenty of civet, so I've been meaning to ask which type of bottle you have?

Despite deeply loving the men's and women's Golds to the point where I can probably write a book about them, I don't have a bottle......I know, I know. I really want to buy one, it's just soooo expensive. It's an absolutely beautiful, superb fragrance.

I have 2 bottles of Jubilation, Oman-2011 and UK-2017. Difirence are big, in old version stronger and better composition, each note I feel clearly separate and all together, amazing fragrance. New version it the same fragrance, but blured notes and weaker parameters.

Thank you for clarifying what we've been saying all along and putting this matter to bed. This isn't the first time Amouage has done this.

Made in Oman Magnetic cap production in 2014 purchased early 2016.
Seems fine to me compared to a sample from 2008.
Wearing for a while I have noticed a high dosing of ISOSuper which can become overwhelming if I liberally apply.

This one was never a beast IMO. Great fragrance though.
