Depends on the bottle. But most can.

Some sprayers cannot be stored any direction other than facing upwards because of the way the atomizer works.

In your case, having only versace, you'll be fine.

    Shouldn't be a problem.

I've stored my bottles in drawers on their sides for years and never had a leak or other issue.

Probably helps with the maceration, too. Like a centrifuge.

Again, this is not scientific but makes sense. If I have a choice to either saturate the bottle/glass part OR the weaker plastic, rubber, non-glass part, I would opt for the bottle/glass part 100% of the time.
Maybe "lubricating" was the wrong word.
The idea was that with the sprayers facing down, the fragrance liquid would stop rubber components in the sprayer from drying out - and letting fragrance out and air in.

Wouldn't recommend it... I had a couple problems in years past and have kept everything upright since. Some materials (looking at you lime oxide) can turn rubber/plastic to soup over time.

I got what you said though, but seems it might have the opposite effect such as what this member below said. I just like to be safe and keep all the juice in the glass-only part of the bottle. My bottle of Indolis is actually on its side but slightly slanted (just fits really snug above some other boxes I have) so the juice doesn't touch the sprayer area. Again, just my OCD at work.

The only concern I would have is if the fragrance tube inside the bottle that draws the fragrance up to the sprayer was exposed to the air, meaning that the fragrance in the bottle was at a low level and it exposed the bottom of the tube when you laid it on it's side. If this happened, then it's possible that the fragrance in the tube could dry or solidify slightly, which could cause it to clog and that might require removing the spraying apparatus to correct it. I just store all of mine standing up.

Fragrances that are thick and sticky could also be poor choices to store on their side. Personally, I think it's best to store them all standing up in a cool dark environment.

If not my Comme does Garçons pebble bottles are screwed.

So far they seem ok, but I couldn’t say what the effect of several decades would be. My bottle of 2 Man seems ok, but I don’t think I e had it for even 10 years.
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.
    4. Looking for a signature scent? You've come to the wrong place.

Hadn't thought of that, but good point. Many of the CDG bottles cannot stand up and MUST be stored on side, so it can't be much of an issue or they would never have created bottles like that.
Between Covid and retirement I don't get out much. But when I do, I smell real good.

I think it depends on the bottle and/or sprayer. In my case, my Guerlain SDV with the non-removable bulb atomizer leaked after being stored it on its side for a week. $$$

Do you work for Versace or have some good discounts somehow? Because otherwise you are missing out on so much by buying only Versaces. They're not that good a house.

There's a personal story as to why he only wears Versace.

You need a bottle of Versace Oud Noir, just be sure and store it sideways.
