    Default Winter signature beast

Hello guys, so I need something for cold temperatures that is performing great. I'm fed up with buying fragrances that just don't last and project. For example I like Spicebomb Extreme, it is my favourite winter scent. So categories it needs to fill are:

Signature scent next to Spicebomb Extreme
    Longevity: 8+ hours minimum
Projection: something that people would easily notice from 1-2 meters.
    Cost: up to $100
To be mass appealing, even if it is unique niche fragrance.
Having that Christmas and cosy vibe.

    CoSTUME National Homme
It reminds me of Spicebomb, sweeter, it's probably one of the loudest, longest lasting perfumes I tried (that doesn't smell cheap/awful), lasts a day and suffocates the room.

Chanel Egoiste (the regular Egoiste, not Platinum egoiste, a different perfume). Very warm, vanillic, lasts and projects very well.

If you had a larger budget (ie $300 or so), I can't think of anything that beats Amouage Interlude.

May well be great, but hard to find and premium priced if you find it. I tried.
I swapped for it and the package got porch pirated. I was P*SSSSED.

COSTUME NATIONAL HOMME is pretty distinctive and pretty tenacious. Strong cloves and cinnamon!!! Not exactly "Christmassy" to me but the strong spices do kind of make it more festive.

This one pretty tenacious and sorta loud too.

Lots of good recs coming your way in this thread.

    Good luck!

Not under $100 though. But this would still be my choice.

There are a lot of winter scents that could fit the bill though.

My personal favorite is Tobacco Oud. You can get a good sized decant for under $100. Excellent performance, even newer batches. It might be a bit challenging for you, but in the dry down, I don't see this offending many. I have never received a negative remark on this, but then again, I'm not someone who draws in comments.

Similarly Fahrenheit Parfum is pretty good in the cold. It's a great fragrance too. A little more versatile than DHP in my opinion

Bentley Intense might fit the bill?

Otherwise, DHP checks all the boxes, but A; its hard to find and you're not getting a bottle for less than ~$150, and B; as Smelly D said, its not that versatile. Its my third or fourth most worn fragrance, but I haven't worn it since early May, it just doesn't work in warm weather. Fahrenheit Parfum might be a better option. Its fantastic, niche quality, versatile, performs well, and can be found in the $100 range.

One more suggestion nobody has mentioned is Eau Des Baux. Fantastic fall/winter scent with excellent performance.

Its weird, a couple people have mentioned CoSTUME NATIONAL homme, but I don't get "beast" from my bottle of it. ?? Its not weak, but its nowhere near beast either. Not sure if thats cause its a newer batch, or cause the bottle was new and needed time to "open" up or what, but the performance was not great.

2 meters is serious projection IMO.....

Which means your only solution (that won't smell bad) is to go vintage and use two extra sprays. Can't beat vintage oakmoss for longevity, use a little extra for projection and you are good to go. Paco Rabanne PH, Halston Z-14, or Grey Flannel all fit the bill, are not that hard to find, and are well within your budget. Z-14 has the light cinnamon action and kind of fits the Christmas vibe too.

Joop! Joop Homme - that one is a legend when it comes to performance.
    YSL M7 - unfortunately discontinued.

I tested it around 2019 I remember tiny single samples spritzs projecting like hell, I just checked on Fragrantica & it's also rated top bracket on both sillage and longevity there. Idk it's too loud to miss maybe you're anosmic to it, I once gave a stupidly loud Bogart Pour Homme away and its new owner showered in it saying it doesn't last but we could taste it in the air at a f'ing party
