Default Need help finding a good masculine pine fragrance

What's up guys?! I need some recommendations in finding a good pine scent. I hear Botega Venata pour Homme EDP is good, so I might start there but would love to hear about others, thanks!!

Polo green is a good one.

Bottega Veneta is very good. Seems the EDP is getting harder to find so may not want to wait real long if you decide to go that way. I don't notice that much difference versus the EDT and like both. The Extreme is good too and still has pine, but is not especially stronger or longer lasting.

Another favorite is Goutal Nuit Etoilee. This one is a little more pine centric than BV.

A classic pine scent is Blenheim Bouquet. Great scent, well balanced, but perhaps less pine centered than BV.

If you want major wood and not so much non-wood to go with it an interesting one I just tried is Woodcut. Lots of pine but kind of a wood soliflore.

High end: I like Itasca, Sycomore, and French Lover.

Low end: I like Bowling Green, Stetson Sierra, and Krizia Uomo.

Ghetto end: Get two 100 mL refillable perfume bottles. Empty out half of a 125 mL Pino Silvestre into each. Then empty out half of a 75 mL Classic Match Polo Clone from Wal-mart into each. That will give you two 100 mL bottles of a pined-up awesomely cheap Polo-like cologne for about $12 per 100 mL.

So many great names already mentioned, also adding Blenheim Bouquet by Penhaligon's-one of the driest, most astringent clean yet also elegant simple citrus piney scents, while niche priced still not overly expensive (somewhere around the entry level of niche cost/value and within the slightly costlier segment compared to most designer exclusive and even designer regular scents).
While further possibilities worth (re) testing might include also: Sir Irisch Moos, Tsar by Van Cleef&Arpels, Felci EDP by l'Erbolario, Proraso Green, Knize Forest, though some of these may overlap without decreasing their value, performance and/or quality, with fougere, minty, green/herbal etc. scents as well.

Seconded. It has a nice pine smell mixed with tobacco and some other notes, but the pine/tobacco notes are the standouts.

Genghis Khan was reformulated in 2014 and it definitely pays to get the earlier version.

A new release called Forest by Rook may be of interest. It's available at LuckyScent. It's a bit pricey and wear kinda light, but it may have a place in your collection if you love pine scents.

    Hey there,

The Bottega is pretty nice but maybe a little stern and stark for what you’d like.

I just tried Frapin The Orchid Man today, and while it’s not exactly pine, it’s driven by a very fresh, sort of prickly green woods note, something between pine and cypress. It’s clean and fresh without any of the typically fresh chemical notes you encounter in the typical designers. Think if a quieter, brighter, non-smokey pineapple Aventus, or brighter, fresher Royal Vintage. It’s very nice. And one of the reasonably replying here is that when I first tried it, I thought of Bottega Veneta Pour Homme, as it reminds me of it in some ways.

I would also give a +1 to the HdP 1828 Jules Verne recommendation.

IMHO it don't get much piney'er than Men's Classic by Mülhens, with a lovely "meaty" drydown. Straight up pine 'n' woods with great performance to boot!

+1 for Fille en Aiguilles and Granville.
One of my favorites was Tsar. I always postponed buying it cause it was dirty cheap and without me noticing, it was gone.
I don’t understand. It is so vast that surpasses all understanding.Understanding is always limited. But not understanding can have no boundaries.I feel like I'm much more complete when I don't understand. Not understanding, like I say,is a gift. Not understanding, but not as a simple-minded.The good thing is to be intelligent and not understand. It's a strange blessing, like having craziness without being crazy. It is a meek disinterest,it is a stupid sweetness.
