Time to eat some words. I have almost emptied a large decant of Coco Noir, and found a bottle on eBay for a great price. I have been considering something in this vein of things—it, Narciso Rodriguez for Her (the original, black and/or pink one), Bottega Veneta (really nice, this one, and still a potential future purchase), and I decided on Coco Noir, initially my least favorite, but it has grown on me. When in doubt, go with Chanel.

Congratulations, khanada! You got some wonderful fragrances. FdA and Felanilla are two of my favorites - and I love Indochine, too!

Congratulations to you, too, 24F! Love Tuberose is yet another one we have in common!

I bought a bottle of Rogue Perfumery Tuberose & Moss and a back-up bottle of Derviche.

Vintage Cristalle is such a beauty. These days it doesn't seem to be the same as it was in the past, but it is still lovely IMHO

Hi N.CAL. Yes! It was my signature fragrance back in the day so I've stocked up on all versions... (although I no longer have the beautiful body powder). I adore No 19 like no other.

Regarding Cristalle, I had a close friend yonks ago who wore Cristalle so beautifully and it's funny, I keep trying to chase replicating that smell, but it's silly as perfumes changes on every "body" and Cristalle is no longer the same. These days in our heat and humidity, I have surprisingly found myself really enjoying the Cristalle Eau Verte.

I have this one but in the dark bottle-- the EdP. I remember it as a very forward scent--must revisit. How strong do you find the EdT? Love the bottle!

Edited to add--I just sprayed the EdP and it is a lot more gentle than I remember it. A smooth, fresh rose with a hint of leather. Quite beautiful.

Mine too—the quality is always top notch, and the perfumes are so complex that first impressions don’t always do them justice. I have never regretted a Chanel purchase. I am still unconvinced by Gabrielle, but if I do what I did with Coco Noir, probably next spring, when a fizzy tuberose seems like it could shine, we might get along better. Or, perhaps, when the weather is cold. I love twinkly aldehydes, during the glittery season of the winter holidays.
