I will be making some big purchases this month. It has, recently, occurred to me that September is the time of year that I clean and cull my clothes and other belongings, and make purchases to update everything for the next year—decades after I finished school, September still feels like the unofficial, but practical, beginning of the year, that always winds down the following August. I have been mixing and matching some Essenza, Luckyscent, Indiescents, and Indigo purchases, and I expect I will be posting the finalists here in a few days.

So, I am buying basics. I considered an FB of Portrait of a Lady, but I went big with Pinrose, which is so good, and so similar, that I don’t need them both, although I keep a “reference” sample of Portrait, that I sometimes wear. Therefore, I am starting the month off right with long-desired FB of Une Rose.

That's a very elegant rose, I enjoyed this one. POAL I enjoyed a little bit more, it's steers away from the traditional rose scent imo. A great purchase
