It's funny that I wore it for a whole week in July, alternating it with Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic and had no problems, but this scent definitely behaves better in the heat and the fact I was actually alternating it probably helped.

Some scents are not meant to be used each day, every day as we get used to them and start applying them more often and in bigger amounts, thus eventually pissing off people around us. Of course, it's hard to piss someone off with a light citrus scent, but maybe there is some line not to be crossed with them, too.
That's one thing I've found for sure. You can categorize your scents on ones that can be used daily with no issues vs. ones that are for special occasion vs. ones that is used only when the mood strikes, etc. I think this SOTW wearing really helps "categorize" my collection for me. I was surprised how many I would never wear daily for a week again! lol

Still, I'm learning a lot about this fragrance. I almost cracked today and put on something else, but I want to stick it out.

    Yes. One more day.

I was light on the trigger today, and I loved it. A little bit really goes a long way with Slumberhouse.

I'm still really excited to wear something different, though.

D'oh! It was almost a record!
I'm not doing a day 5 tomorrow because it's Fahrenheit Friday, but I'll pick back up Saturday morning.

Oh yes, I find it useful, too! (Although I'm doing it only for Monday-Thursday, I like Friday Synchs and keeping my weekends free for anything)
Some realizations are rather sad though - last year I thought I would make Narciso Rodriguez For Her a sort of my semi-signature scent as I felt so great wearing it and it's so beautiful and versatile (maybe not for summer heat though). But after 3 days of wearing it in a row I started noticing that I started smelling only parts of it, and by day 4 it felt almost hollow. Only after two weeks or so I could smell it fully again. It was so sad, but at least now I know I can wear it no more than 2 days in a row and it gives me the most pleasure if I wear it maybe once or twice in a week or even bi-weekly.

And, for example, the week with Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier has shown me that I could wear it every day to no end and still feel satisfied. It's crazy as NR For Her is a love and LL is only a strong like, but I learned to appreciate it in a very different way. At first I was sure I'll use up my small bottle and it will be it, now I suspect I might actually miss it when it's gone.

I think it helps in that aspect as well - makes one look forward to the next one!

I'll probably add Kiste for either fall or winter and see how I feel about it as a daily driver. It's definitely one of those mood choices for me.

Starting a new week with Alaia Nude. It's new in my wardrobe and I'm already regretting that I picked up only a small 10 ml bottle. Let's see how it goes with the continuous wearing 4 days in a row.

This week, I'm going with Terre d'Hermes eau Tres Fraiche. Can't go through summer without having made this my SOTW.

It's all good! Good to find out too. Certain fragrances really are for non-daily wearing, but just enjoyable if not more!

3rd day with Alaia Nude - I like the scent itself just as much and look forward to wear it tomorrow, too, but it feels like more a skin scent today than before, hm.
I like getting to know my fragrances better, but it seems like I get the most joy when I alternate them more. But maybe it's too early to tell.
