first thought is always Burberry London. Others say Christmas, I say Fall.

I've recently fallen hard for Mitsouko. I gave the EdT that I initially dismissed another attempt, found myself actively craving the stuff over the course of a week, and broke down and ordered a bottle of the EdP, which just arrived today. It's gorgeous, and so softly, deliciously autumnal that I can think of nothing else I'd rather wear when the weather turns (and beyond). I want to bathe in it.

Yes please, thoughts on the edp!

For me, autumn in a bottle is Bois des Iles.

Best autumn fragrance? Mitsouko. Nothing else comes close.

My fragrance-seasons connections are so loose. In practice I wear anything anytime of the year. One exception I can remember from the top of my mind is A*Men. Dans Tes Bras is one fragrance that smells specially beautiful in the autumn.
I don’t understand. It is so vast that surpasses all understanding.Understanding is always limited. But not understanding can have no boundaries.I feel like I'm much more complete when I don't understand. Not understanding, like I say,is a gift. Not understanding, but not as a simple-minded.The good thing is to be intelligent and not understand. It's a strange blessing, like having craziness without being crazy. It is a meek disinterest,it is a stupid sweetness.

Anyways, for me these would fit the bill -

    Itasca (early autumn)
    Fille en Aiguilles (late autumn)
Chergui - because I wore it a lot in October/November 2013 in Phoenix

    Bois 1920, Vetiver Ambrato
    Dior Privé, Ambre Nuit
    Mugler Les Exceptions, Ambre Redoutable
    Le Labo, Vetiver 46
    Hermèssence, Ambre Narguilé
    Herméssence, Vetiver Tonka
    Creed, Jasmin Impératrice Eugénie
    Helmut Lang, Helmut Lang EdC

    Hmmm . . . a wee bit of a theme here:

    - amber
    - vetiver
    - amber + vetiver
    - a little spice
    - a little vanilla or likeness/impression

Oh, and a wee little pricier. Darn, that’s something else never noticed until just now, and, that is, I tend towards niche and premium designer in the Fall/Winter and then apparently designer in the Spring/Summer. Plus I’m starting to doubt whether I really need to add another amber frag by way of Grand Soir or 114 that I’ve been looking at recently? . . . nah, one more amber cannot hurt!
