    Default Fahrenheit Parfum...Cucumber or not?

I am considering a blind buy of this, but I keep seeing the occasional mention of a cucumber note in Fahrenheit Parfum. That's a deal breaker for me, as my wife and I both hate the note. Any opinions?

I'd say, if anything, its melon.

I’ve never picked up a cucumber note. To my nose, this is a warmer version of the edt, with a big dose of sweet bourbon vanilla. I love it!

Nothing of that sort to my nose.

Go for it, Chuck! I think you will love it based on your tastes, and it will be an excellent fit for you (I'm thinking mostly non-work dressed up situations).

That's probably the violet leaf. If you like the original Fahrenheit you should be ok, because that note is very noticeable in the EdT.

I do not notice cucumber or melon. It's great stuff though. Parfum is a more boozy vanilla take on the EDT.

No, not in the parfum version...enjoy, i think it is an excellent flanker.

Cucumber??? Ah, no. LOL not even remotely. Fahrenheit Parfum is a 5 star, niche level scent that I always recommend very highly. Its sensational.

$99/shipped from this trustworthy ebay vendor is a fantastic price. I'm tempted to buy up their remaining stock just to have it for when this stuff jumps up to $150 a bottle like DHP did.

I just want to say also, be careful of fakes out there - for some reason, this is a commonly counterfeited perfume. I bought a knock-off from a seller HERE on Basenotes, who wasn't aware that it was a fake.

Dior does everything right so watch out for sloppiness:
The cap should click right on perfectly, and sit perfectly.
If the atomizer hole is facing you, the "CD" on top should be perfectly perpendicular to it, and facing you.
The atomizer tube should be exactly the right length to hit the bottom of the bottle (usually the biggest "tell" of a fake, the tube being too long)
The atomizer itself should give you a good spray, and should you should be able to modulate your spray - it shouldn't be an "all or nothing" POOF of a spray
Lastly, this stuff should smell glorious. Its a niche-level scent. It should not smell cheap or chemically at all.

I haven't smelled cucumber in it, either, and recently pulled the trigger.

I bought my bottle of EDP from this same seller a while ago. It's legit, and all good.

No cucumber note for me in the parfum. The only recent Fahrenheit flanker I can think of with a cucumber vibe is Aqua.

Good choice. Used to own it, enjoyed it honestly. But the "melon" note isn't really there for me. More violet leaf than melon at that stage of development, vanilla et al later. I think you'll enjoy it.

Fahrenheit Aqua does have a strong cucumber-ish smell, I found it really disgusting and sold it - I like the newer Fahrenheit Cologne much better.

So I guess you confused something here.
