Default Creed Millesime Imperial: all year round?

    Hi,
I really like MI and I'm sure it's good for spring and summer, but do you think it'll be good to wear it all year round?
    Thanks

If it works for you why not?

Not usually one for clones but CDN Milestone may also be worth looking at if longevity and projection are a factor for you.

Why not? Likely one of the Creeds with better all year versatility.

I wore MI regularly in the Midwestern US 2013-14 polar vortex as my ray of sunshine.

Going to college and getting between buildings in -20 F walks on a college campus in Salomon snow shoes and triple layers of clothes was no fun. MI softened the weather, and I ran out of my 1 oz bottle.

Still have MI, but now a 4 oz 2015 batch.

    IMO - Yes.

I'd say yes. It is a great summer scent but it's not as "festive summery" as something like VIRGIN ISLAND WATER.
Between Covid and retirement I don't get out much. But when I do, I smell real good.

    I wouldn’t, but that shouldn’t stop you.
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.
    4. Looking for a signature scent? You've come to the wrong place.

Why wouldn't you be able to wear it all year round? I wear all of mine whenever I want. I don't restrict them to particular seasons.

I think you'll be safe wearing MI year round, but definitely don't take a chance on wearing white after Labor Day.

Ditto. Couldn't see myself wearing just a creation in cooler weather. Otherwise, there'd be no time to wear my ambers, orientals and so on.

I wear it all year round. Its funny that after I purchased it, I learned that it was considered a summer/warm weather fragrance due to the beach vibe it gives off. However, I purchased it from the Creed store in NYC on Valentine's Day with my wife a few years ago, on one of the coldest (and I mean coldest) days of the year. So to me, there will always be an association with cold weather with this one.

ps. What a great time we had at the Creed store! I had a great chat with the owner, and a sales rep that was excited and getting ready for a move to the Las Vegas Creed store, which at the time was just about to open.
