Between Covid and retirement I don't get out much. But when I do, I smell real good.

Bois de Portugal by Creed for work will be easier to wear than Knize Ten and it will last ALL day. Buy it before it gets too rare.

    Santa Maria Novella:

    Tobacco Toscana.
    Acqua di Cuba
    Sandalwood

The whole brand is a bit overlooked on frag forums and Youtube, but these 3 to me smell and feel full on masculine. Not 15%, not 30%, not 75%...but full on masculine. Full on masculine, according to the IFRA, being of 85% of a fragrance.

Seriously though, they smell masculine. The bottles are classy. I like that it is a brand that specializes in fragrances.

Give them a try please. And if you don't I won't talk to you anymore
Seeking: Bottles/decants : of Pomegranate Noir, Midnight in Paris EDP, Feeling Man, Essence of John Galliano, Azzaro pour Homme (vintage),...etc.

Seeking decant/sample of Aramis Calligraphy Rose, Penhaligon's Esprit de Roi, PdE Ambre Russe, Jil Sander Feeling Man ....etc. I have samples to swap.

Forgive me if you had already mentioned this, but have you sampled Knize Ten?

Its been ten years since I have, but I just found it a bit much. That is not to say you will not like it.

Basically, my purpose in this response is to steer you perhaps towards Etro Gomma. It is similar to Knize Ten. But with better balance in my opinion. Definitely check out some reviews. You may be intrigued.

Current Knize Ten is much more 'wearable' than it was 10 years ago. But you're right, it is still a leather with floral notes. Hence Gomma (with aromatics prominent instead of florals) as a worthy alternative.
An October rotation of vetiver, leather and forest notes: Etro Gomma and Vetiver; Hermes Equipage and Bel Ami; Caron Yatagan; Knize Ten; Jacomo Jacomo de Jacomo; Lalique Encre Noire; Gucci Guilty Absolute; CdG Black; Puig Quorum, TF Noir Anthracite.
