Default The house you sampled with the most liked perfumes

I have tried a lot of houses and some houses have a lot of perfumes that I really enjoy

One of them is "The Gate Fragrances"
I love almost all of them. I've tried 9 perfumes, and I love 8 of them, (not saying just "like" but that are really awesome)
    which is a whopping 88 % adorability

I also sampled Orto Parisi and there is a 75% adorability (6/8)

For example, at "contrario", I love only 2 from 12 of Kilian I've tried (16% adorability only)

which is the house you tried which you have loved almost every perfume they have to offer ?

    Guerlain.

I've liked every single fragrance I've tested.

This questions piqued my nerd interests, so I've done some calculations:

Chanel is the house I own the most scents of, but is very difficult to calculate its 'adorability' percentage as it's hard to figure out how large their portfolio realistically is. The basenotes directory contains 122 fragrances, many of which are (long) discontinued, listing various concentrations separately, and there are even a few wrong entries it seems (21 Rue Cambon, anyone?). I currently own 9 Chanel scents, some in different concentration, and I love quite a few more, but there's no easy way to calculate how many fragrances are currently in production. Given their large portfolio, I would wager that the adorability percentage would be relatively low though.

Ormonde Jayne is another house I own quite a few scents from (5 are currently in my collection), but they have just extended their range with a large new collection that I dislike so I would end up with a modest 5/51 = 9.8% adorability score.

I guess it's easier to get high scores for houses that have a small collection. I very much enjoyed my 5 sample pack from Maison Violet, for instance. I'd say 4/5 I would happily wear, and 2/5 made it to my wish list. If I take the stricter cutoff of (wanting to) own, Maison Violet would get a 2/5 = 40% adorability rate from me.

I sampled a new house called Luxodor recently. loved almost all of their perfumes, the best one is The Ottoman Padishah. The other one i loved is Matteo. Both are quite unique and very good quality. I will say 99% adorability.

I’ll preface this by saying there are some houses below from which I haven’t tried many. However, of what I have tried in the lines, the most successful are

L’Artisan - I own the most bottles from this house more than any other, any market.
    Arquiste
    Hové
    Diptyque

I’m also considering the portfolio. For something like Dior, for instance- they have so many fragrances that the average is inevitably poor.

Imaginary Authors for me (with the exception of Bull’s Blood, which I own for sake of completeness but can’t stand). Amouage is another house with close to a 100% success rate for me.

In vintage only, my favored house is definitely Dior.

In contemporary output, Parfum d'Empire -- all composed by Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, who is turning out to be my favorite living perfumer. Even the ones I wouldn't buy/wear because of an aversion to certain notes are admirable compositions.

And for that same reason, the entire small output of La Parfmerie Moderne, all of which are also by Corticchiato. Their style is less rustic than d'Empire, and show off Corticchiato's versatility.

Sultan Pasha, and Papillon - the only two houses that I blind buy everything as and when I can! Neither have disappointed me.

Very closely followed by Mellifluence, Areej Le Dore, NOT Perfumes, Vero Pofumo, Areej Le Dore, Bogue, Henry Jacques and Serge Lutens. I didn't include the old French houses intentionally.

There are few houses I want to explore but keep delaying - largely due to current situation and the expensive and inconvenient shipping situation.

Definitely Frederic Malle for me. I am at least familiar with all the scents in the line (except desert gems) and own more Malle than anything else.
