    Default Masculine Fragrance

Hello, please help me to choose men fragrance, with that "2000's" feeling if you know what i mean, not old school i mean, i mean that gold era where were terre d hermes , hypnose, ultraviolet, chic and etc. modern masculine but that "richness" feeling.+ beast mode.

When I think of the noughties and "Beast Mode" I can't help but land on Abercrombie and Fitch Fierce, but I don't think that's the "modern masculine" vibe that you are probably looking for.

Beyond Fierce, I remember a lot of Boss in Motion, Armani Code, Lacoste Style-in-Play type stuff (I was in college during this time), some of the late 90's stuff getting heavy rotation (Boss Bottled etc), but again I don't believe these are what you are looking for either, from what I've tried the powerhouse/beast mode fragrances seemed to die out after the late 80's / early 90's and there's not a lot of stuff that's really the same anymore. Unfortunately I don't tend to wear a huge amount of stuff from the early 2000's as I mainly started following fragrances from around 2010 and prefer a more modern scent bar a few oldies...

Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme 2003 (gun metal brown with silver lid) was great but tried it a number of times within the last two years and it’s been very thinned out. Would recommend an early bottle though.

This is a good one, as well as the Armani Code recommendation. For a better version of Code, try A-List or Colonia.

Maybe also Armani Attitude and/or Armani Attitude extreme among less easy availability ones, Eau des Baux, Bogart Signature and/or Habit Rouge EDP for quite easily attainable choices from that very 2000s age

I always found Terre d'Hermes parfum to be long lasting on my skin (very good for a citrus), it doesn’t project huge or anything (definitely not in the powerhouse/beast mode category) but not disappointingly poor either, it has a good enough reach that people will know you are wearing it. I wouldn’t say it’s weak and should perform well for most people.

Since it appears both the EDT and Parfum are shadows of their former self, it's best if you could find ''vintage'' bottles of Terre d'Hermes EDT from 2006-2010 and Parfum 2009-2010. However this will cost you and could be hard to find. Assuming the bottles have been stored properly over the years.

Do you have any experience with TdH? Personally, I think it's terrible.

yes i have it was strong enough, but what was a trick in store only had 200 ml testers both of edt and pure parfum and both of them were maybe 10-20 ml in each bottle. so in testers they would be 2012 batches too or 2014, and in retail can be new batches. also i tested allure edition blanche (edp) edt is nowhere, edp is eau joke )) after 30 minutes nothing. thats why im confused, that most of fragrances became chemical and not lasting at all. from fragrances that i tested last time 1 million lucky was more or less performing but too sweet and chemical too, but if hermes is shadow and fades away quick that maybe i purchase 1million lucky and perform lil bit chemical but better and longer. sorry for long text but thats why i need advice , i dont want pay money for nothing.
