Default I can't believe I've never smelled Heritage..

I hardly ever see it in stores and I love Guerlain fragrances so much. Is there any other guerlain that is similar??
I absolutely love Habit Rouge would I like Heritage as well??There are no testers and I don't see it in department stores here. It's like the missing link of guerlain here.
    I'm curious .

Both the new version and the vintage are fantastic.

    Love Heritage
From a value perspective Guerlain's - Heritage, Vetiver, and Habit Rouge are fabulous quality scents at reasonable prices.
    Enjoy!

I think Heritage is in the realm of Tiffany for Men, Bois du Portugal, Carven Homme.

Its a patch heavy oriental fougere.

I dont find any similarities in abee rouge, vetiver, and air i taj
Its the best one. Patchouli leather tobacco. One foot in the past, one in the present. Full of class. Id say its a solid question if i had to drop to one fragrance if it would be heritage.

If you like Heritage EDT, grab your backup bottles.
It's discontinued and there will only be the EDP in future.

Ask Guerlain, they will confirm it.

L'Instant and Vetiver will only be available as EDT, not longer as EDP - that's why prices are already climbing up on L'Instant EDP.

    These aren't news.
Many people asked Guerlain about this already, eg. those two guys who have written here: https://www.parfumo.de/forum/viewtop...736&start=1025

There's also a bigger change with 7 fragrances of the Patrimoine line which will move from the 100 ml bee bottles to the 75 ml heart-cap bottles. Just in case you're interested in this too.

The EdT is quite nice. Manly elegance in the vein of BOIS DU PORTUGAL. It doesn't smell like BdP but has that "serious man" vibe.

It doesn't seem to have much shelf space in any stores I frequent.

It's only like HABIT ROUGE or other GUERLAINS in that it's nicely blended. i.e. No one note dominates a wearing.
Between Covid and retirement I don't get out much. But when I do, I smell real good.

I agree about the fine blending being the common thread but I always feel that Heritage is the real "Shalimar Pour Homme" more than Habit Rouge.

I feel you will really like it. I prefer the EDP. But definitely try any Heritage out. Kind of related to Zino as well, although MegaMav is correct with the fragrances he listed as cousins to Heritage.
Seeking: Bottles/decants : of Pomegranate Noir, Midnight in Paris EDP, Feeling Man, Essence of John Galliano, Azzaro pour Homme (vintage),...etc.

Seeking decant/sample of Aramis Calligraphy Rose, Penhaligon's Esprit de Roi, PdE Ambre Russe, Jil Sander Feeling Man ....etc. I have samples to swap.

    My thoughts too.
But I guess Guerlain isn't selling many of these nowadays, probably much less than the L'Homme Ideal line.

And just for the record: I can only share those infos which are confirmed NOW by Guerlain.
If they decide to skip their decisions in future (like DIor did when they discontinued DHP and re-released it) it's not my fault.

Just chiming in - while I dislike Shalimar, I adore wearing Heritage. Agree that Heritage is more in the spirit of Shalimar than Habit Rouge.

They’re both great but the EDT, at least the recent one has a certain something which makes it stand apart. The notes just sparkle. If the EDP is a closed flower, the EDT is certainly an open one.

The two have had 30 wears between them in the last 6 weeks so I think it’s safe to say Heritage and I hit it off.

I don't know if it's just me but I find the edt of Guerlain Homme superior to the edp (except for longevity).
Well I will have to blind buy Heritage then. I've never smelled a Guerlain fragrance that I didn't like.
I even like Ideal edt which many people are not fond of.
The almond note in it is fantastic.
If Heritage has patchouli + leather in it there is no way that I won't like it. Thanks for the replies.

Just be aware, it is like HABIT ROUGE in that it is nicely blended...leather and patchouli are there but don't leap out.

Please feel free to get in contact with Guerlain and ask yourself.
Maybe they can give you a certificate signed by Mrs Courtois or Thierry Wasser if you like that better.

Man I have a lot of bottles of Heritage EDT, and now will be adding many more this is terrible news but back ups are not hard to find. Same with L’Instant De Guerlain Pour Homme EDP I have three 100ml bottles and one sealed 50ml and one 50ml in use, 3 sprays per wear will last me a very long while and I will definitely buy more soon such a lovely fragrance and the EDT does not do this justice EDP is so lovely ART.

I’m glad there is no word of Habit Rouge EDT going away that concentration is lovely and so perfect IMO!
