Default My cologne cabinet/tray looked the coolest in...

...2003 or 2004 when I had the original versions of M7, Gucci PH I, Helmut Lang Cuiron and Michael by Michael Kors sitting pretty side by side. THAT was a nice Fall line-up!

The runner-up was 1988 when I had Polo, Kouros, KL Homme and Quorum on the dresser!

I think mine is probabaly now as I have gone from wearing AdP Colonia as a signature scent with occasional wears of Terre de Hermes or Floris Santal.

Today I have a collection of 80 plus bottles with many niche scents.

The problem for me is that I put one on and regret not wearing another.

At times I would like a signature again...

Maybe, as paradoxically as it sounds and only personally speaking, when the first important purchases initially came in and got to enjoy for the very first time long term favorites like Chevignon Brand or Armani Eau pour Homme

I'm very content with my current setup.

I'm at 37 frags right now, looking to top out at 40. Very happy with my cabinet right now and what doesn't fit rests comfortably under the sink

Mine looks coolest when I travel, and get to spend a few consecutive nights in a stylish hotel. I set up a little shine of fragrances, typically highlighted with some Creed travel size bottles. If I’m in a big city, I complement the display with any samples and new purchases.

I travel a lot for business, with a fair amount of leisure travel in the mix as well. Good living on the road is all about making hotel rooms comfy. Well, my home has nice fragrance displays, too. Why not continue this tradition while traveling?

Incidentally, I pack it all away before housekeeping comes. No need to leave valuables out. Best to get stuff out of their way so they can clean and do their job. I always tip housekeeping, and end up with good service, such as more towels, soaps, fancy turndown service. All affordable luxuries. But the minute housekeeping is done, the fragrance shrine returns. Ah, the comforts of home.

I owned no fragrances in 2004/2005.

Oddly enough, I think I owned Polo in 1988, but never wore it. I received it as a gift and it sat on my shelf for years without being worn. I must have thrown it away.

My cologne cabinet now just looks messy. I'd like to dispose of a handful of bottles and grab my bottles of Songe d'Un Bois d'ere and Sequoia from Japan to bring it to peak performance.
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.
    4. Looking for a signature scent? You've come to the wrong place.

I don’t currently have a cabinet just medium brown boxes keeping everything in a dark environment.

    Definately now,

There is nothing better than having and seeing my 15 Roja bottles all lined up next to eachother.

Sparkles more than a Jewellery shop
