Default Recommend me an affordable coconut fragrance please

By "affordable" I mean not quite CREED Virgin Island, anything below $100 would be perfect. I have Cool Water Intense in mind, but Ive never got to try it and heard that the coconut note is barely noticeable.

Ferrari Silver Essence has a nice coconut vibe.

I like Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Coconut Fizz a lot - it's more coconut water than meat though, bright and sparkly, with some bergamot and probably other citruses, and yet soft.

If you want just *some* coconut among a bouquet of southern florals and beautiful soft vanilla, Guerlain Terracotta is just gorgeous and super elegant.

If you want truly affordable, Coconut by The Body Shop is actually nice.

    Welcome to basenotes!

Demeter's Coconut is very affordable, too.

I have not tried them. But maybe read about Versace Crystal Noir and Zara Rich Warm Addictive. I think they are very affordable and have coconut.

You'll find that most coconut fragrances are marketed towards women. They are a few that are masculine, with Creed VIW certainly being the gold standard for many guys. I'd suggest trying a few fig fragrances as well, since many people get a spicy coconut vibe from the note. Certainly give Marc Jacobs for Men a try and see what you think about it.

I have a 30ml bottle of Viali VM Island which I purchased from eBay for about £7, imho very good.
I also have a bottle of gorse which I use less frequently.

I second Crystal noir, I would also suggest Datura noir.

Assuming you are a man, Stan :
Le Beau, a coconut version of Le Mâle.
This one is - bizarrely - wearing a maple leaf cod piece (which is maybe something to do with the 'coconut wood'?)
and shouldn't be confused with Le Beau Mâle - which is wearing a stripey top.
Don't know what Le Beau is like but it came out in 2019 and may still be in the shops.
It's not too expensive on line.

Hugh Parsons Blue while on the pricier side and towards the upper end of the budget, might still work within this price range.

Otherwise, recommending especially but not exclusively:

Best of Chevignon, Baldessarini del Mar, Insense Ultramarine by Givenchy, Rochas Aquaman, the Verdon/Cedrat series by l'Occitane, the Blu Mediterraneo series by ADP, Periplo by l'Erborlario, most of the marine scents like Quasar by J del Pozo, most of the Kenzo male scents like PH and/or l'Eau by Kenzo, Aqua di Roma Uomo by Laura Biagiotti, most of the ADP flankers like Essenza and/or Profumo

The only coco-nutty scent I own is Night Life Summer Edition Man by Esprit.
It was very inexpensive at the time I bought it.
I don't mind it - but have never smelled any other coconut scent to compare it to.
    Regards,
    Renato

Simone Andreoli - Malibu, Party in the Bay. Best there is in my humble opinion (around €125 / 100ml).

Thanks for the answers everyone! I was really tempted to get Coco Extreme since it was fairly easy to find compared to the others at a good price and I really liked the fact that it was mostly focused on the coconut, but I managed to find a bottle of Zara Rich Warm Addictive and pulled the trigger on that since it's so hyped and affordable. It smells great and does perform!

It’s funny cause it’s not listed, but I get a strong coconut note from Xocoatl from Fueguia and a subtle one from Tom of Finland by Etat Libre D’Orange.
I don’t understand. It is so vast that surpasses all understanding.Understanding is always limited. But not understanding can have no boundaries.I feel like I'm much more complete when I don't understand. Not understanding, like I say,is a gift. Not understanding, but not as a simple-minded.The good thing is to be intelligent and not understand. It's a strange blessing, like having craziness without being crazy. It is a meek disinterest,it is a stupid sweetness.
