Default The use of fragrances out in public during the pandemic

Depending on where you live, I don't see the point of using fragrances during this time if they can't be discovered since everyone is wearing a mask.

However, wearing it for yourself is still an option.

it's a good point -- I still spray when I go out though, out of habit

I think people may be able to smell you through a mask

l can still smell people just fine when l'm wearing a mask. And nothing will stop me wearing fragrance whenever l feel like it.

You can still smell through a mask.

The weird thing about the county I live in, a mask is still a mandate at all indoor businesses but at the gym, almost no one is wearing one.

While did truly notice a decrease of scent wears in public- though inconclusive to a certain point because of:
apart from not going much in the first place, going out even less due to the lock-down restrictions.
While the current situation did influence very little the to nonexistent any personal fragrance habits due to not only working from a home office but this also being one of the main settings if not the most important fragrance wearing location on an average even long before any pandemic and limitations directly resulting from it ever truly happened.

I can smell fragrances through my mask.
One point of wearing them could be because it just makes me feel better?? (When I wear my own perfume, for example.)

I don't see the point of using a lipstick while wearing a mask and I still wear lipstick.

This has always been my objective, so don't see a problem under the current conditions. I can still smell myself through a mask anyway.

I can still smell lots of things even with a mask. In fact, the way it filters the air makes some smells even more prominent, especially cigarette smoke. I can easily smell fragrances on people.
Then again, there's no mask mandate here and very few COVID cases anyway so I only wear masks indoors (supermarkets and medical appointments mostly).

Personally I usually only wear fragrances for myself as well, and only spray under clothes. Even then, I can still smell myself through clothes and mask.
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.

I can smell them through the mask. I bet others can too.
the mask gets humid and annoying and they are refreshing. their effect on others is magnified, going from mask air to perfumed air.

Add me to wearing lipstick with the mask.

I wear fragrance for me also don't care if others can smell it or not. Even when I had to work from home still got up and put on fragrance.

    Same here.

Spray two different kind of perfumes everyday even during lockdown working remotely from home for few months straight, couldn't careless if nobody else could smell the scent. I wear perfume for my own enjoyment. :-p

I don’t go out too much, but I’m still wearing fragrance daily. At first, I didn’t. But it was depressing. And I enjoy wearing as much as I want without worrying I’ll be smelled a few cubes away. Plus I get to wear the skanky stuff if I want.

I smell other people’s fragrance through the mask, but it’s harder to identify.

I’m still wearing fragrance and lipstick. But the lipstick now is more of a lip stain or all day wear that is unlikely to get the mask dirty.
My only regrets in life are the people I haven't stood up for,
and the perfumes I've thrown away.

I live in Tennessee where not everyone masks, and if we had a mask mandate, it would only make some people more determined not to wear them. I don't go out much, but I've thought of using a large dose of some of my "old lady perfume*" to keep people at a distance. Or maybe just carrying it to attack with if they get too close.

*I normally hate this term, but I am a sorta old lady and in this case I think it fits.

Fragrance wear in a time of CoVid? IMO it’s not a bad way to test if you’re suffering from acute anosmia which could indicate the sneaky probability of a CoVid infection.
