Dior - Eau Sauvage Parfum (2017) 100ml

I love the previous Eau Sauvage Parfum and have both formulations of that one. I had this 2017 one before, but I think a tester? This time I went full retail on an amazing deal. A very nice variation, plus I live in TX so I may have a bit more 'opportunity' to wear this over the 2012/2015 ones .

I love the previous Eau Sauvage Parfum and have both formulations of that one. I had this 2017 one before, but I think a tester? This time I went full retail on an amazing deal. A very nice variation, plus I live in TX so I may have a bit more 'opportunity' to wear this over the 2012/2015 ones .

Congrats! I find the 2017 version more suited for daily use versus the 2012 which I think is more of a dressy fragrance.

Just a couple backups of this one as I’m suspecting it’s already been discontinued. It’s not a top ten favorite or anything, but I like it and wear it a good amount in the spring and early fall.

The current version is great, but ONLY IN COLD WEATHER. Otherwise it's a bit harsh, throat-scratching harsh, form birch tar.
If you try it in warm weather, you probably will not like it, and you'll lose such an elegant and smooth fragrance.

I'm very curious how the vintage version, with oakmoss in it, is like.

In some sort of order I wore Golden Boy, Godolphin, Tuscan Leather and Colonia Leather. And I've tried La Yuqawam and Ombre Leather. I'm no fan of clones and thought of the one who probably "started it all". So I decided to buy the first new bottle for the year:

Saks has a $75 gift card with $150 purchase today only, so I got Christian Dior Oud Ispahan.

And then they're giving away a free travel atomizer with a $100 fragrance purchase, as well, so I got one of those and my SA filled it up with Patchouli Imperial.

BTW, if you do a Google search, you'll find Oud Ispahan on the Saks website for $187. It's not being sold at that price in stores and you won't find it by searching the Saks directly on the Saks website. My SA could either match the price and order it for me OR give me the $75 gift card. I went for the gift card, but if someone doesn't want the gift card and wants Oud Ispahan for a great price, there you go.
