I didn't know that incense blogs were even a thing! Interesting! I'm definitely going to watch this thread.
After hunting around some more, I have uncovered a few. Likely there are more out there that I'm missing. Olfactory Rescue Service appears fairly extensive.

I don't have a blog but I post regularly to the incense subreddit listed there. I have a journal of all the smells I've encountered in perfume/incense/resins and I share freely. It is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
Thanks SO much! Looks like a lot of useful info from experience - appreciate you sharing it all. With so many confined to their home, I was hoping for more active responses pertaining to home fragrances. Such has not been the case.
Tonight I am burning Shoyeido Seifu/Fresh Breeze (Sandalwood, Clove, Cinnamon and spices). I also like their En-mei /Circle. Like fine wines, it can be a slippery slope when you become attached to a particular agarwood.
We love incense but worry about it being suitable for a home environment, too strong for some rooms or having to clean up the ash. We have had two incense fragrance oils created for us and they have been very popular with our customers who make wax melts and candles. We have had them made a little lighter than traditional incense sticks. One is jasmine, the other is rose.
