Based off the pics and info given, its fake. For one thing, I'm pretty sure the fleur-de-lis on the top of the box is supposed to be black, not silver (its black on the 3 Aventus boxes I have). Its also embossed on the real boxes, printed "in" the cardboard, not just a graphic printed on top of it. Also the font of "Aventus" on the box is too blocky, the real font is thinner. Also its weird that the logo is all messed up like it is.. plus, if there really is no batch number (and you're not just missing it because its etched into the glass bottle and hard to see) its definitely a fake.

Also - hard to see in the pics, but - if you can see white on the edges of the box, thats another sign its fake. Real Aventus boxes, the cardboard is dyed black, so theres no white edges.

Always amused to read that people can spot micro differences between batches by just smelling it, but are unable to discern between fake or real.

And for that matter, if unable to, why even worry? Just assume it's real and enjoy

That said, without any experience of Aventus, I can tell that the messed up printout on the box screams fake! Just a bad quality fake.

Hey, at the end of the day, all that matter is if you're happy with it. If it smells good to you, and lasts a long time, well... who cares if its real or not?

It's not about just a damaged corner on the box, here. The messed up printings on the box have nothing to do with sent from the UK or not.
Any fragrance house would have destroyed such defective packaging. The fact that it has not, it can only be fake. Furthermore, you can;t find any batch code... what else is there to understand?

There are great clones of Aventus around, and it is likely that the fake juice you got is still a great imitation. But like DiamondJoe said, if you enjoy it, just enjoy it!
