l've gone for Eau du Sud, even though it's grey & damp here. l need that bracing hit of citrus aromatics to power me through today.

    You're welcome!
I find those tags quite useful myself.
I only tag them by notes and perfumers, but I believe tagging by season or by mood or by genre could be very helpful, too.

I hope you feel much better today! Continue on getting better

    Philosykos is a wonderful choice!

I myself went with Les Amoureux de Peynet by Molinard for the Southern France. It's a beautiful blend of sharp citruses, verbena, ginger, a hint of petitgrain and very lightly woody base. It is so sharply fresh it cuts through any headaches, nauseas, sleep deprivations or anything else bad and makes me feel better. I always have to have this kind of citrus in my wardrobe, it's my remedy for everything.
I believe Molinard discontinued it and then relaunched it with a different name and bottle in their new Mediterranean series and called it "Gingembre". I tried Gingembre too, and it smells pretty much the same as Les Amoureux and the note list is exactly the same, although I believe ginger was amped up a little bit.
(I believe 'sharp' is probably a wrong word to choose here but I didn't think of better one)

Nuxe Prodigieux Le Parfum for me. Beachy florals, unsweetened coconut, a wonderful dry pebbly-mineral note. It evokes a summer holiday on the French Riviera, which is a high priority item on my to-do list.

I’m traveling and all I have with me is a decant of Lutens A La Nuit. It is not exactly on topic but let’s just say I am in a Mediterranean garden.

A La Nuit might be my favorite Lutens—fresh, honeyed jasmine.

In Synch with Corsica Furiosa. Sprayed liberally, I'm finally getting the leather and a sort of animalic (hay+honey) in the base, as well as the Corsican garrigue and tomato leaf of the opening and mid. Starts out like a drier version of Devin, and goes from there....

    With I+H:

    Parfum d’Empire Corsica Furiosa

Smells a lot like this landscape looks: dry, green, brushy, stony. I do get some tomato leaf.

Well, since Teardrop, Incense, and LiveJazz stole my green thunder for Provence and Corsica, I guess I'll hitch a ride on a boat heading east and wash up on the shores of Bruno Acampora's beautiful Azurro di Capri.

I was just at the garden center this morning smelling the tomato plants and rubbing the leaves on my skin.
    Was getting strange looks.

    Happy Friday!

I realized I am not loving my Jardin right now, and that I have this one (Lys) sitting in storage, unloved, so I pulled it out. My wife and I are both wearing it now. Amazing! She loves it, but says "Don't buy!" (She knows me too well.) LOL.

    Too late!

When it comes to samples, having is one thing and finding, quite another. If I can locate my Corsica Furiosa, it will be my SOTE, but meanwhile I’ll be in this:

    A5AB493D-E79C-4479-9AB6-A8F15097F80D.jpg

    Tom Ford - Neroli Portofino

As many others have noted, it's a very nice concentrated eau de cologne, and that's it. As I have dozens of EDCs and such sterling alternatives as vintage Eau Sauvage, I can't see why I'd splurge on a bottle of NP.

Synching again in Ancient Resins this evening, which transports me to the shady pine woods of a Greek mountainside in the heat of summer. l find it supremely comforting.

    Great pics today, people!

Wearing Etro Shaal Nur this evening. Mediterranean in its citrus (lemon, bergamot, petitgrain) and aromatic (rosemary) / herbal (thyme, tarragon) notes. The frankincense and resins are an added bonus.

Hmm, another good option for my SOTE. So many frags, so little concept of which ones are "Mediterranean"…

Hope you are feeling better, N. Cal!
I wasn't feeling very committed to any particular Mediterranean scent that I could think of today, so I wore Demeter's Fig Leaf. It's actually a pretty nice simple little fig and I enjoyed it until around noon, so that's fairly long for a Demeter to last! I'm really enjoying Musc Nomade right now, but haven't come up with any tenuous way to sync link it.
