Is the Current Guerlain L'Instan Pour Homme eu de PARFUM still great ?

and one of the Best Guerlain Homme Fragrances ?

an underrated perfume, rare and unappreciated jewel from commercial designer perfumery ?

Oh yes it is, it’s still a powerhouse as well. The notes might have been tweaked a little bit from original Extreme but it’s still a excellent fragrance it’s definitely full bottle worthy. It’s a classy gourmand fragrance and IMO nothing is quite like it it’s blended perfectly. I have a few back up bottles because I enjoy this one a lot, when I’m in the mood for a gourmand fragrance this one hits the spot.

I prefer the EDT.

I havent tried the EDP I only have the old Extreme, but I did swap on the cheap for a bottle of the new EDT.
It's definitely not the same, its missing the big thump of sandalwood that made the old EDT in the old bottle special.
I get more smoky tea instead, feels a bit hollow.
Figures, on Basenotes there is a real difference worth talking about, but isnt.

I hope they didnt change the Extreme/EDP, even though the old EDT was better in my mind.

Still great. Performs very well. I kind of prefer the EDT's scent but it doesn't last as long as the EDP.
