I've only tried the vintage. There was something in the drydown that came off as pungent to my nose otherwise I might've thought better of it.

Ooo, then try the modern Bijan version, which is toned 'way' down. It's way more crowd-pleasing in my opinion and they erased the questionably-offensive portion that is in the vintage. Although the modern version doesn't have nearly the projection and staying power compared to the vintage. Sometimes I like the modern version (in the early/late-Summer and moderate Fall temps) and every so often I want that potent vintage (usually when it's cold).

L'Air du Desert Marocain is a very good fragrance and worth buying IMO.

Great shave of the day and scent. Salter cream is some luxurious stuff. I have their Sandalwood scented cream and it works for top shelf shaves.
