1.) I reach for the same frags I always have.

2.) Artistry and novelty have never influenced my purchases. I sample and then either purchase or pass. Blind buys are an exception however.

3.) I consider it a waste of time worrying about the thought life of others. I wear what I choose to wear. If I knew I was about to enter an environment that had an individual or individuals that were genuinely fragrance-sensitive or had allergies to them, then I would act accordingly and show them regard.

I've come up with a lot of fun little suggestions for how to minimize the spread of covid19. I suppose fragrance could be involved, as a repellent to encourage social distancing, but, pick the nicest repellent possible....
(My main idea is about forcing people to sleep 7hrs per ~24hr cycle (esp medical workers), which could evolve in a dystopian kind of slippery slope thing, where eventually everyone wears implants for permanent and easy access to their blood system. A great overall boost to our immunity. ---- Mainly came up with this when I saw all the discussions at work where people tried to be rational and "whataboutism" about every decision aimed at reducing the spread. Etc. Etc. I suppose an idea for a novel, or something. Antagonist in the story could be a M.D. who don't have time to think about if the decisions "make sense" or not, but is purely doing his job best he can, 7AM to 11PM, every day, then he decides to think about it, and realizes he and most of his co-workers needs some Triazolam on demand.)

I am kind of bummed I'm wearing stuff just for me at this point. No office, no going out with people, etc.

But I sure smell awesome in Whole Foods and Walgreens....hope those cashiers appreciate this.

I just wear less when i go out e.g a spray or drop of oil on the bottom of my mask and thats it!

The pandemic HAS changed my relationship to my perfumes, because putting on perfume was part of my rituals for getting dressed and going out into the world. Not to receive compliments, but just to confront the day wearing a good cloud of (usually vintage) scent for my own enjoyment.

We’ve been isolating at home since March. I have clothes and shoes that I haven’t worn since then. I do wear perfumes at home, but in different ways. I’ve been testing samples and exploring my wardrobe with a discreet spritz or dab. I just don’t think of applying lashings of good perfume to walk around the house in my yoga pants and felt slippers, but perhaps I should. I should probably warn the family.

That makes sense too!

I don’t think I realized how much perfume was part of my public dress and persona. I intend to wear more of it at home, although I live with two moderately scent-averse people — my dear husband and elder daughter. They’re not allergic to perfume, but they just find scent overwhelming at times. Perhaps that is why I have applied more when I knew I was going out?

I might be more liberal with the sprays sometimes since I've just been working from home since March, but overall, my approach is the same as always. I've always worn fragrances for my own comfort and enjoyment, so I see no reason to change.

At the beginning of the pandemic, I was buying up bottles left and right. Nowadays, I'm just staying put with what I have and enjoying my favorites, mostly.

I’ve been wearing less perfume than usual, because like grayspoole said above, it was part of my ritual of getting dressed and going out. Since I spend most of my day puttering around the house in my sweats, I seem less likely to bother with perfume. Also, when I feel anxious I’m less tolerant of smells, and there has been a fair amount of anxiety in my life. I have taken the opportunity to clear out quite a few bottles that were unworn, and plan to do more of that. Sitting around the house staring at all those bottles has made me feel like it’s too much, time to pare down.

Not so far, working from a home office most of the almost ever since and long before the virus, while also wearing fragrances mostly at home-more frequently and more freely than in any other location not or less available due to quarantine.

Perfume wearing has been kind of enhanced for me. The imposed isolation has made my perfumes stand out more on any given day with other usual life distractions having been stripped away. I’ve been concentrating on wearing and enjoying the perfumes I love most and with money saved from not being spent on outings like restaurants or social events, I’ve been able to back up some of the permanent collection.
