USPS Anxiety

Now my package isn't even showing up in my USPS Informed Delivery anymore.

I have another package that was sent from the UK that I'll have to contend with .
It's Subtism Heater .
The order was placed on December 10th , sent December 19th.
Nothing yet, and no tracking number.
I wish I knew about the no tracking number.
I would have paid the extra.
No parcels from FedX today.
Generally, if it was in Grove City, it would have made it to Twinsburg that morning.
I imagine that most are opting for a FedX or USP .

I think I see the problem.
It's states in my recent tracking , that it is in transit and on it's way,
but it doesn't say it departed from Akron.

Marvelous 'toon from Reddit, right on the money.

Our packages are ambling and shambling around somewhere in the system, unscanned and tossed into random bins. I've noticed several times that previous information (like your Informed Delivery notice) just disappears from the tracking page - sometimes it comes back, but often it doesn't. Scanning accuracy seems to be running at about 40-50%.

My FragranceX package info has been updated to show that it's expected to arrive tomorrow. We'll see. In the meantime, my tax document from Social Security showed up, but my husband's didn't. Every previous year, they have been mailed and delivered on the same day, Tax season is going to be a real nightmare, I hope they give all of us more time to file this year, like they did last.

Sent from Europe on January 6th. Today is the 14th.

Whoa, not what I would have expected from FedEx! Seems like there are problems across the board with shipping. I must say, international mail has always gotten to me faster than domestic mail - never more than eight days, as near as I can recall. When the USPS flat-out tells customers (as I was told yesterday) to allow 3-4 weeks for delivery of First Class mail - while they continue to charge a higher rate for that service - you know this slowdown is going into overtime.

Thanks, JBS1. I was very surprised to get that tracking info finally, and can't help but think it had something to do with the complaint (not claim, as I originally thought) I filed this week. Well, however it came about, I'll be glad to receive the package.

That tracking digit business is actually scary!
