Default Top 10 as of now (part 2)

Did your top 10 change compared to ~2 months ago? (---> https://www.basenotes.net/threads/48...p-10-as-of-now)

    Mine did (and ranked now):

    1. Bois du Portugal
    2. Le Male in the Navy
    3. LPDO Cretus (Aventus clone)
    4. Le Male
    5. Fahrenheit Parfum
    6. LPDO Folie d'Epices (either a Spicebomb or Dior - Spice Blend clone, the jury is still out, anyway it's pretty cheap and quite versatile for me)
    7. Prada l'Homme
    8. Dark Rebel
    9. Tommy
    10. Reyane Insurrection II Wild

    (11. would be Fahrenheit EdT, 12. Ultra Male fwiw)

Numbers 1 and 2 are because I'm more in the mood for a fresh vetiver/ambergris and an aquatic/ambergris now.

I assume if I had the money to get Aventus, it would boot Cretus outta there.

For the same reason I don't own Fahrenheit Parfum yet and I only have a sample of Creed BdP. Next up I am looking into buying Perfume Parlour's take on BdP. And on different Aventus batches.

Folie d'Epices however I would not swap out for the real Spicebomb, as side-by-side Spicebomb is sweeter but in an anise like way, which I dislike.

How I had it was (rankless):

    Baccarat Rouge 540
    Bois du Portugal
    Dark Rebel
    Fahrenheit EdT
    Fahrenheit Parfum
    Le Mâle
    Le Mâle In the Navy
    Masculin Pluriel (MFK)
    Prada l'Homme
    Pure Havane

    The old list:

    1. Givenchy Gentleman
    2. Jules
    3. Bijan for Men
    4. Chanel Pour Monsieur
    5. Antaeus
    6. Bel Ami
    7. Ho Hang Club
    8. Moschino Pour Homme
    9. Versace L'Homme
    10. Polo
    11. Egoiste

Honorable mention: Santos, Patou Pour Homme, and Fahrenheit.
Solid list. The order of things might change. Whatever I've worn recently will usually do better. Lots of these are my favorites while I'm wearing them. And some others.

Santa Maria Novella- Acqua di cuba
    Slumberhouse- Kiste
    Slumberhouse- Jeke
Michael Kors- Michael for Men (vintage)
Yves Saint Laurent- Rive Gauche PH
    Odori - Tobacco

And a surprise final addition (which has not even been released yet). Basing this addition off of two sample wearings that were incredible.

Specifically speaking on the vintage. Current stuff is good but not nearly the same as Cosmair.

Little to absolutely no significant change (s) here either, at least not as long as few solid male unisex designer and niche classics worth not just joining but also remaining within the personal top 10 still exist and remain easily available.

My top 10 has changed a bit, mildly like anything outside my top 4, just a bunch of stuff that I wear occasionally and stuff that smelled good on test strips that I havent fully worn yet.

    2 months ago/now
    1. Invictus/Invictus
    2. Montale Sweet Vanilla/Montale Sweet Vanilla
    3. Versace pour Homme/Versace pour Homme
    4. Ultra Male/1 Million Privé
    5. The One EdP/BR540
    6. BR540/Calvin Klein Reveal
    7. Calvin Klein Reveal/Le Male eau Fraiche
    8. Le Male eau Fraiche/Boss Unlimited
    9. Stronger with You/Petit Matin
    10. Chocolate Greedy/Stronger with You

I imagine 5-10 will change in 2 months also. Starting to lean more towards freshies and less towards super Sweet and darker scents with some few exceptions

Just out of curiosity: no modern or non-classical fragrances you can appreciate just as much?

That goes for ZC as well (Dior Homme aside):

Not quite as much. But some I like are Dior Homme (2005), Allure Homme Edition Blanche (2008), Elie Saab Vetiver (2016), and Rogue Chypre-SIam (2018).
