I'm joining you in Le Lion de Chanel, also from a brand new bottle that I just opened today. I tried some Friday night from the spray sample the SA gave me and the potent lemony opening was fantastic. I was asleep for the rest. So excited!

I'm just chilling around the house in sweats right now, so I felt like something more casual would be more appropriate. One of my Le Labos seemed right, and since I wore Patchouli 24 recently, I went with Poivre 23, which I haven't worn in over a month.

Le Lion de Chanel has the potential to become my new favorite perfume, possibly surpassing Coromandel (which it doesn't even remotely resemble). I sprayed it on over six hours ago and it's still going strong. So far, it melds with me perfectly.

Kerosene Winter of 99 - I can't get enough of it.

Yesterday's initial wearing of Le Lion de Chanel was an amazing experience. It's big, bold, and beautiful. I'm not getting any resemblance to Coromandel and maybe just a little to Shalimar. Le Lion is pretty unique. I predict masterpiece status over time. It's quite complex so I'll have to study it more.
