Been reading the reviews here for past few years but just registered and made my first first today.
    Awesome, grats. And welcome officially!

    Bought some samples:
    Indult Tihota
    Diptyque Eau Duelle EdT
    Essential Parfums Divine Vanille
    Arte Profumi Sucre Noire
Farmacia SS. Annunziata dal 1561 Vaniglia del Madagascar

Only tried Tihota from this and wanted to compare with other various Vanilla scents.

Not sure what I'll say if someone asks me what I'm wearing with Farmacia SS. Annunziata dal 1561 Vaniglia del Madagascar
Nice, I really wanna try Tihota.

Thanks I’ve worn this a few times in the past haven’t worn it since 2018, I recall enjoying it and was in the mood for a solid cheap addition to add in the wardrobe.

Great time of year to get back to it. I prefer this one in cooler weather.

5ml of Lancome Figue and Argumes.
Was one of two I sampled, wow last summer, and really enjoyed. I guessed it was this one that I'd put some change down for!
Not sure I'd wear it, leans more and more sweet and girly after midway.
Very nice scent though I felt moved to have a little piece of!

I feel like you'd enjoy it. I'm really surprised you haven't tried it already since it seems like you have 5 new fragrances everyday haha

I appreciate the recs, I've already been planning on checking out Un Bois Vanille & Orchidee Vanille, but wanted to save them for later.

Bought a slightly used 50ml bottle of the vintage formulation for a great deal. Smelled it today and unfortunately it seems this one has lost its potency. The top notes seem a bit off and it's basically a skin scent after 5 minutes. It's a 2002 formulation so I'm wondering whether it's due to age or poor storage conditions. Not sure whether to throw it away or just use it casually at home. Bummer.

That sucks. Time does unfortunately take a toll with some of these vintage scents. I can distinctly remember the crispness of Polo, for example, when I first sprayed it when I was around 16, and the vintage bottles I have now are very good, but they lack that "snap". I have several iterations, it's just the toll of years.

I bought an M7 much like yours a couple of years ago, and it had lost a bit as well. I guess it's to be expected.

I understand what you mean Chuck, especially when you describe some scents missing that ''snap'' due to age. It is what it is I guess. I do find it a bit strange as I have a 0.5 oz mini as well from 2003 and that one smells fairly rich and has that notorious cherry cough syrup accord. But in any case thanks for your input on the matter. It's just to be expected indeed.

Re-bought a full bottle of Dior Homme Intense.
I sold a tester I had thinking having Dior Homme and DHI would make one redundant. Regretted selling DHI ever since.
Today saw a bottle from 2017 and knowing how difficult it is to find one in Australia, decided to pull the trigger at full retail. This frag is worth every penny. So happy to be re-united with the old favourite again.
