What a nice box ! Congratulations ! How does it smell ? By the picture, I could tell something woody, earthy, savage...

    Thanks!

The EdC is actually fresh and very invigorating, reminding me quite a bit of the likes of Monsieur de Givenchy and Capucci pour Homme. That was a nice surprise actually, as I was prepared for something very mossy and perhaps stuffy. Seems quite potent and long-lasting for an EdC! Even survived the shower.

I believe this set is from the 70's, comparing the label designs and ads. As a wet shaver I'm also very much looking forward to trying the shaving cream, as it's said to be fabulous stuff. I paid 35 euros + postage for the set, which I must say is excellent value.

EDIT: There it is, in the blurb on the box: "Cool and fresh as the break of a new day." It sums it up perfectly!

Just bought a vintage TF M7. Now all I need is a vintage Jazz and I got them all! I have 2x "tin can" Rive Gauche and 2x YSL Pour Homme.

It's an under the radar gem by Jean Carles. Beautifully balanced spicy floral sandalwood with just a hint of something lascivious lurking in the base. I can only imagine how swoon-worthy the extrait would be. I rarely see it mentioned here (I think PStoller may have a bottle).

I do indeed have Embrujo de Sevilla, a recent acquisition, and one I’d been stalking based on its reputation. Like Dana Emir, it’s a relatively obscure scent by Jean Carles that works great as a masculine even though originally marketed as a feminine. I need to wear both more! It’s also one of several “forgotten” Myrurgia gems; one might think all they ever released was Maja, but some of the others are terrific. Maderas de Oriente in particular is a wonderful sandalwood scent.

I like SIR Irisch Moos a lot. I didn't expect it to be this outdoorsy-fresh. Easy to wear.
