Pretty weird badging on the packaging for a French brand. Famous American warships? Huh?

Got a ton of stuff this week...Here's two. I'll share the rest soon:

    Attachment 161824

    Vintage Caesars Man - 50ml

    Attachment 161825

Ungaro Pour L'Homme II - backup bottle

If you like Caesars then congrats to you!

Me and a friend had a mess of that way back, they gave it away. It was the only fragrance I owned that made me hold breath when applying and I had some strong ones. I really don't remember what happened to it - I know neither of us likely went through even one bottle - but it didn't end up in my vintage stash that I still have. Who knew all these years later there would have been people happy to get it and maybe even searching for it....

In the decade or so after WWII, the US military was pretty popular in France. But this is from later than that, and the name “Crusader” is an odd fit for the dubious package design, which could help explain why we’ve never heard of it.

Yes, early or mid 70s? According to the degree symbol. The original batch rules very hard.

Brummel and Sagamore After-shave; the first is a no-brainer, since the box was sold for 3.5 euros.

Sagamore smells heavenly, better than my Eau de toilette whom top notes are a bit burned, I think. What surprises me is the percent of alcohol in the After-shave: 90% !

EDIT I wonder if 69.3 and 62.4 are the "real" percent...

    LOL!

Yeah, it's a weird combo of name/packaging....But nevertheless, it's a surprisingly good scent.

    Lacoste Eau de Sport

Love Lacoste and I'm on the hunt for a reasonably priced bottle of Paco Rabanne Sport! Great catch!

Unfortunately we'll never know because it's lacking the original box... I love early editions of Paco but I like the latest one too...

Marco, do you own Lacoste? I'm also a big fan and recently bought a bottle just like this one (in the photo) "Eau de sport". I don't know if It's my mind playing tricks on me, but I think this "Eau de Sport" is more ambery than the traditional squared bottle. Have you noticed anything?

Jean, what can you say about Brummel? I had the chance to buy it a few years ago, but even considering its low price, I didn't find anything about how It smell like and I was affraid of getting another thrash fragrance....
