Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve my or other Basenoters' acknowledgement or respect.
I sampled it to death in November and went FB in December for my Christmas splurge.
I like HERITAGE a lot and it is similar. Many think it's a waste of money and I won't argue or get preachy about ROJA.
I find it a bit edgier. It has a dose of cumin which to some is gross, but to me it's nicely and discreetly done, making it a bit more "DANGERous" than HERITAGE. I think longevity is better for me too.
Don't blind buy it. Get a small decant of the POUR HOMME PARFUM COLOGNE if you're tempted.
Between Covid and retirement I don't get out much. But when I do, I smell real good.

Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous.
Flamenco Neroli by L’Orchestre Parfum
I am late in the game trying this house’s offerings due to their lack of availability in the States, but I love the “Sound Scents” concept (obviously), and if this first perfume tried is a good example of the rest of their offerings, I will be playing catch-up sampling others in record time. A superb neroli perfume to be sure.
Current Top Ten:
1) Portrait of a Lady original formula (EdP Frédéric Malle)
2) Jasmin Antique (Rogue Perfumery)
3) Giorgio for Men vintage (Giorgio Beverly Hills) - tie
3) Giorgio V.I.P. Special Reserve (Giorgio Beverly Hills) - tie
5) Dia pour Homme vintage edt (Amouage)
6) Captain vintage (Molyneux)
7) Nombre Noir (Shiseido)
8) Lucifer (Renaissance Fragrances) - tie
8) Monsieur de Givenchy vintage (Givenchy) - tie
8) Polo vintage (Ralph Lauren) - tie
Grand Soir and another vote for Roja Danger! I had a small decant of Danger Parfum Pour Homme and over Christmas decided to buy a bottle. What a glorious, well blended, well-rounded fragrance. I had Creation-E and honestly, it's too much. Sold it.
The first time smelling Grand Soir was yesterday and wow. For such a small note list, this is a real stunner. I'm going to have to pick up a bottle!

I wasn't prepared for how awesome this one smells.

I was genuinely shocked by how much I liked Tyrannosaurus Rex. Had always assumed it would be too much for me, but both I and my wife loved it on me.

I see a lot of likes for Roja Danger Cologne. Just don't get it yet. I will have to revisit.
Just smelled Gucci Envy for the first time (I know it's old). I love this stuff!

so beautiful, a bit like a lemon pie but there is so much more to it that makes it gourmand but not edible

Montale Bengal Oud is growing on me after 5 wears. Not much oud here. It seems to be a greener, fresher take on Montale’s best selling Aoud Leather.

White Lotus by TRNP. A very beautiful scent.
Dior Santal Noir. Every frag enthusiast should at least try it! Very nice smelling and very good performance! Pretty rare thing!
Love Santal Noir, a gorgeous underrated scent from Dior.
Why thank you, greatly appreciated, you have wonderful taste as well!
My latest Wow is Boadicea The Victorious Nemer.
Tried this in store several times & could not pick up the scent for the life of me, remembered I had a small sample & I'm blown away how this develops so beautifully.

2021 has been all about Nicolai for me.
Both New York Intense and Patchouli Intense are 5 star scents for me.
Both great great scents.
NYI is not the beast on me in terms of longevity that others claim it to be. But for the first couple of hours its great.
PI has a ridiculously long life on my skin and is such a clean mature scent. I (unlike some) do see it as safe if sprayed appropriately
I struggle to decide a favourite of the two - but love both.

Arabian Oud Kashmir. Been wearing this a few days the past week. Japanese Yuzu, Black Currant, Plum over some oud, rose and jasmine followed by a base of white musk, oud and vanilla. This stuff is sublime, elegant and wonderful.
