Fragrances that "WOW" you recently in 2021?

Le Lion is the best thing I have smelled in quite a while. Definitely the best thing tried for the first time in 2021. I tried vintage Opium Pour Homme EDP for the first time this year also, and that is a close second.

This is one of those fragrance where I see that a nose can develop and preference change in time. I ordered this sample maybe 7 or 8 months ago and was not overly impressed. I put it aside with the intention to come back later to it since I felt I did have a quality product in my hands.

Thus, I recently skimmed through all my samples to sort them (and even throw some away).
When I arrived at this on, god was I drawn into it. I could not stop smelling it. It is so refined and comforting. So elegant! Very happy to rediscover it properly

Not just me then! I sampled this a few times in the past and it never clicked for me either. Inspired by a recent 'Modern Fougere' thread I decided to buy a 10ml sample and as you say, "WOW!" How I didn't see the beauty of this one before is beyond me - it's fantastic...!

Not just me then! I sampled this a few times in the past and it never clicked for me either. Inspired by a recent 'Modern Fougere' thread I decided to buy a 10ml sample and as you say, "WOW!" How I didn't see the beauty of this one before is beyond me - it's fantastic...!

I think its the patchouli that wows me in this one. I was definitely not expecting it but after I wore it, it just settled in and became relaxing. Got a compliment from it too which I wasn't expecting because I thought it was a bit of a mature scent but maybe not!

Wearing Eau des Baux for the first time in a while. One one hand you have this vanilla and cinnamon gourmand note, but it's balanced with cedar and juniper perfectly. It's like you're sitting by the fire in some cozy lodge, drinking a chai or something. Loving it.

It's a fickle scent. Somedays I love it, some are just "meh". I'm the same with Creed MI.

I gave Pluriel another chance last week and really enjoyed it. I'm keeping it.

I don't know what's changed, but this L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme is impressing me like I've never experienced before maybe.

I just received what appears to be a legit likely 90's bottle that I opened myself. It smells great, and there's a sweetness or something I don't recall picking up in the past with different bottles.

Quite nice... Hopefully I'll keep this one?

Something about this. I can't get enough of it. It definitely reminds me of both Vetiver Extrait and Elysium Parfum Cologne. So close to ordering a bottle! Really trying to fight it and test more to see if there is absolutely anything I hate about it to give me a reason not to buy it!

Gave a full wearing to Paco Rabanne Invictus and discovered that it smells nothing like what I thought it would smell like based on all the fragrances that are supposedly copying it. Wow.

Seems its more so the Invictus Aqua DNA that is being rolled out by other brands
