I guess you've probably read drseid's review. I enjoy wearing it, but I don't get nearly the longevity that drseid says he gets. It seems my skin eats up fragrances like this along with vintage versions of Dunhill Edition, D&G Pour Homme, YSL Pour Homme and others. I've just resigned to reapply every three or four hours, which is okay with me as I really like the opening.

Never got to it last night, both because I conked out early and the other Lamborghini persisted. So, today:

Lovely, subtle, masculine via the woody leather base, but not aggressively so. Which is to say, almost nothing like an actual Lamborghini.

Man, I always thought that Paul Revere was one of them cowboy-moviestars of the 30s and 40s. As I read the box, not so much

LOL! No, not so much, though if you've only heard of him as "an American hero," the misapprehension is understandable.

Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner did a riff on him in one of their 2000 Year Old Man routines. Mel calls him "an anti-semite bastard!" because he misheard him as yelling, "The Yiddish are coming! The Yiddish are coming!"

    Avon Friktion for Men (2000)

A very mildly sweet but woody aromatic gourmand with the patent Avon amber in the base. I missed the train on this 20 years ago.

Sampling for the first time ever YSL Jazz Prestige. From application I get a strong presence of lavender, geranium and spices. We'll see how it develops over time.
