This version is by far my favorite.

I really enjoy the “rounded nature” of this one given the subtle tobacco note that peeks its head occasionally.

Great stuff... I may wear it tomorrow

Finally received the Morabito Or Black that I ordered from France thanks to Nosey's tip. Applied some, since my morning scent had vanished.

Man, this stuff really is interesting. This version is lighter weight than the sample I'd had, but still supremely enjoyable. A little less leathery, not quite so dark, which probably makes it more versatile. And not quite so masculine, which will make me more inclined to wear it. The violet note is fairly pronounced.

A tremendous bargain in fragrance, all around.

PS to Papsi: I don't find the bottle all that cheesy, but I do dislike the way the silver surround shows fingerprints.

Egoiste Cologne Concentree, last of my sample!

Fantastic stuff, but not sufficiently different from vintage Egoiste that I will seek a bottle, I think.

I went with Force Majeure by Jacques Bogart. Similar to Florida water in that it’s anything but “Force”ful in nature. This is airy, almost ozonic in terms of feel, and wears rather politely but noticeably. You’d think given the green bottle it’s housed in that this would bear some resemblance to Brut or some other fougere from yester-year; nope... I don’t know how I’d classify this, but I can tell you that there’s nothing else like it in my collection.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday and both you and your loved ones are well.
You’re SO right! Florida Water really does clear bad juju! And great choice BTW by wearing FM.

I was wearing a modern Ferrari frag this afternoon, which is why I didn’t post any scent. Being up late right now, and extremely “tired”, I made an error when I applied Grey Flannel by mistakenly grabbing my reference EA bottle. Yick!!! No where near as wearable/pleasant as the older stuff.

    Night night!
Sent from the bayou, using homing gators.

    SOTD: Polo Green Cologne Splash

Wearing from my oldest bottle of Polo Green today. Acquired it from the original owner who bought it new in 1987. It was basically 95% full and for some reason he decided to sell it. At a very reasonable price as well, so I just got lucky seeing the listing. Needless to say, I didn't waste any time asking why, amazing juice my fellow Polo-heads!

I was going to make today my inaugural wearing of my newly arrived silver cap bottle, but I got lazy and grabbed what was on the counter in front of me.
