Well just to make you doubly ill, I scored another full 15ml of vintage parfum today, horribly mislabelled ebay advert. Top juice!

Was that on the U.S. eBay? If so, my alert missed it; can't catch every mislabelling, I guess.

I've never sniffed the extrait of Diorling. Is it substantially different from the EDT?

One more question? You mentioned Whip -- have you smelled both vintage and modern? If so, any differences to note?

No UK, it seems to open further down the pyramid than the edt, with far more of the oakmoss and leather, almost like a bass roar, at the same time as the top citrus, hyacnith, then settles closer to the edt presentation as the heart enfolds, after a while they even up but the extrait does seem to hang in there longer. It's really quite a powerful opening. I don't think it's a case of the top notes having burnt off, but I can't be positive, all I know if that it is some potent juice! There's no suggestion of it having turned or gone bad - I've smelled enought to recognise that. I've smelled a vintage of Whip but that was a few years ago,
