I've just had a phone call from the vets and our kitty has made it through the procedure and we can pick her up in about 3 hours. It is good news, they froze the cancer spots - no cutting and removal needed. While she was under anesthetic, they also clean her teeth and two teeth needed extraction so she is going to have a very sore nose and mouth as they heal. She needs to wear a head cone for 10 days, that is going to be an interesting experience. Our already pampered cuddle cat is going to be even more pampered - if that is possible!

Today, I'm wearing LPRN Couture by Guerlain which is one of two scents that I keep around to wear during difficult times.

Quarry - handling each day, at a time, is definitely a good idea. Not only for this temporary health craziness in your life now, but overall even after that. It's easier said than done - but then again, what's the alternative? I have been fighting some very minor health issues myself and I can either be angry, defiant and in the past/future (a.k.a. "Hell!") or I can use this as a 'spiritual practice'. In most moments I choose the latter.

Oh my. When little Kimchi was fixed, they told me to make sure she wore the head cone and stayed calm. I told them they had to pick one; when I put the headdress on her she freaked out and ran everywhere kicking like crazy.
