Hi Basenoters!
Sometimes I get tired of the warm, sugary, comfortable fragrances suitable for winter, especially when they put me to sleep and I don't much things done, lol. I need something that can pep me up; a fragrance that actually reminds me of the cold, crisp, iciness of winter. To embrace the thrill of the chill!
The components I am looking for in a fragrance that resembles winter:
1) Cold and Icy- like snow and icicles, which would LAST from the initial spray to the drydown. Maybe even include a metallic note and/or menthol note?
2) Crisp and refreshing- no not for summer! Something that smells like the crisp winter air and cold water (creek, lake, or river).
3) Maybe include a pine tree note that is not overpowering or cloying.
Notes I'm trying to avoid: cloying, comforting/cozy, creamy, flowery/perfumey, fruity, too soapy, sugary, too sweet.
PLEASE help me out! I've looked around for a bit, but would not want to continue searching without the help of you fellow Basenoters!
